    • Inconsistent since minors return
Clase owns a .156 average and .311 slugging percentage across the 58 plate appearances he's logged for Triple-A Tacoma since his April 29 demotion.

Advice: Clase had posted a .333/.333/.500 slash line over the first 12 games of the Rainiers' season before getting the call up to the big-league club, where he got off to a similarly strong start before tailing off. The subsequent return to Tacoma started off particularly ragged, as Clase went 3-for-33 over his first nine games, albeit with nine walks and five steals, before showing some signs of life in the last three games with two home runs, four walks and another pair of stolen bases. Clase is an elite speed threat who's proven capable of generating above-average walk rates throughout his time in the minors, and although his strikeout rates also tend to get elevated, he could certainly be a consideration for a return to the majors this summer. • Tough day in Sunday's loss
Robles went 0-for-3 and committed an error in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Getting the start in center field and batting ninth, Robles' fielding error in the second inning led to a three-run inning for Boston that proved to be the difference in a 3-2 loss. The 26-year-old outfielder also made a baserunning gaffe in the third, as he attempted to go from first to third on a single even though third base was already occupied by Riley Adams. Robles has started three straight games since coming off the IL, but his job security was low even before Sunday's performance. With Joey Gallo (shoulder) closing in on a return from the IL, Robles figures to find himself on the bench in a short-side platoon role. Rotowire.com Today, 8:27 am
    • Quiet since season debut
Haggerty went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Athletics on Sunday, his first hit since making his season debut May 1.

Advice: Haggerty had gone hitless in his first eight plate appearances of the season after a delayed debut due to a non-baseball-related medical issue. The veteran utility man has now broken through with his first knock of the season and also has a walk and stolen base on his resume, but he'll likely continue seeing only sporadic playing time while good health prevails across the Mariners' roster. • Exits with back spasms
Winker left Sunday's loss to the Red Sox in the sixth inning due to back spasms, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: The 30-year-old tried to play through the issue, but Winker's back flared up after he made a diving attempt to catch a sinking liner in the bottom of the fifth inning. Trey Lipscomb pinch hit for him in the sixth, with Ildemaro Vargas shifting from third base to left field defensively. Winker is slashing .235/.350/.386 through 38 games on the season with four homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs and a career-high four steals, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he got a day off Monday when the Nationals head to Chicago to face the White Sox and right-hander Chris Flexen. • On base three times Sunday
Stewart went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Sunday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: Getting the start in left field with Brandon Nimmo nursing an intercostal issue, Stewart did a credible job as the leadoff hitter. Nimmo wound up pinch hitting a slugging a walk-off homer in the ninth inning however, so the assignment for Stewart was purely a short-term one. The 30-year-old has played well enough to keep a bench job even after J.D. Martinez joined the big-league roster, and Stewart sports a .206/.389/.426 slash line on the season with four homers and 16 RBI in 90 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:09 am

    • Struggling in May
Reynolds went 0-for-5 with a strikeout Sunday against the Cubs.

Advice: Reynolds has struggled in his last 10 games, collecting only seven hits across 38 at-bats with no home runs and no RBI. He remains locked in as the No. 2 hitter in the Pirates' lineup and has a .267 xBA and .361 xWOBA, so a turnaround in production should be in order. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 am
    • On base three times in win
Chisholm went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a triple, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Advice: Both extra-base hits came off Zack Wheeler, as the Marlins tagged the Phillies' ace for six runs -- the right-hander's worst start of the season. Chisholm has caught fire over the last week, producing four multi-hit performances in the last seven games and batting .370 (10-for-27) over that stretch with three doubles, a triple, a homer, three steals, three RBI and five runs. • Nearing rehab stint
Jones (back) will join Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday but will not immediately begin a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones is traveling to Albuquerque with Kris Bryant (back), but he's behind his teammate in his recovery process. He'll continue to ramp up his activity prior to appearing in games, but the Rockies hope he'll be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by late May. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am

    • Pops grand slam
Siri went 1-for-4 with a grand slam Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Siri has been in and out of the Rays' lineup since both Jonny DeLuca and Josh Lowe have been activated from the injured list. While Siri has started five of the team's last eight games, the majority of his playing time moving forward is likely to come against lefties -- in favor of Lowe. He did manage a timely home run Sunday, though that was his first hit across 17 plate appearances in May. Rotowire.com Today, 6:57 am
