    • Heading back to bench Sunday
Haniger is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Haniger will take a seat for the series finale after he had started each of the last seven games in right field or at designated hitter while going 6-for-24 with one extra-base hit (a double) and two walks. Despite the recent uptick in playing time, Haniger still looks to be behind lefty hitters Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley for reps in the corner outfield when the Mariners face right-handed pitching, though Haniger should be a mainstay in the lineup against southpaws. • Taking seat in series finale
Cowser is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: After going 1-for-7 with a walk between the first two games of the series versus Tampa Bay, Cowser will hit the bench for the series finale while Austin Hays picks up a start in left field. Cowser had started each of the Orioles' previous seven contests and still appears to be locked into a near-everyday role in the outfield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:40 am
    • Goes deep again Friday
Happ went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and three total RBI in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Happ did his best to keep the Cubs in the game, launching his sixth home run of the season in the second inning, then walking home a run with the bases loaded in the fifth. The outfielder has gone deep four times over his last six games, and he has a robust 1.184 OPS during the stretch. Happ's overall numbers don't look as good, but he's worth riding with while he's hot. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:56 am

    • Ian Happ hits rare opposite-field homer in loss
Ian Happ had a two-run homer and a bases-loaded walk Friday to supply three of the Cubs’ four runs against the Reds.

Advice: Happ’s 364-foot homer, hit as a left-hander to the most generous part of Wrigley in left-center, was his first to the opposite field since 2022. He has four homers in six games after totaling just two in 47 games to start the year. Rotoworld Friday, 2:40 pm

    • Three hits in loss
Castro went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Castro was in a bit of a slump -- he went 0-for-12 over the previous four games before this multi-hit effort. He had a hot stretch in late April and early May, but he's otherwise been little more than league-average at the plate. The 27-year-old is slashing .258/.332/.419 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 27 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 12 doubles and three triples through 55 games this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:01 pm

    • Goes deep in loss
Happ went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Happ is 5-for-15 over his last four games, and three of those hits have left the yard. The outfielder had only two home runs across 47 games before this recent hot streak, but he blasted 20 or more long balls in two of the last three seasons, so it wouldn't be surprising to see his power production continue to trend upward. • Ian Happ goes yard in loss to Brewers
Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI against the Brewers on Wednesday.

Advice: Happ took Bryse Wilson deep to right field for a solo homer in the second inning to put the Cubs on the board. He then led off the fourth with a base hit and scored on a groundout before bringing a run in with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. The 29-year-old outfielder is slashing .226/.329/.376 with five homers, 28 runs scored, and two steals across 216 plate appearances. His underlying stats have all nearly matched his 2023 season with the exception of his strikeout rate, which is up to 28 percent after posting a 22 percent mark last season. • Willi Castro with three hits in loss
Willi Castro went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Royals on Wednesday night.

Advice: The Twins struggled to sustain offense against Seth Lugo and the Royals’ bullpen as Castro was the only member of the lineup with multiple hits. He hadn’t recorded a base knock in four games and has a .258 batting average with four home runs and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:16 pm

    • Michael Harris leading off for Braves vs. Nats
Michael Harris II is hitting leadoff against the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris will get the first crack at the leadoff spot with Ronald Acuña Jr. now out for the season with his torn ACL. With Harris in the leadoff spot, he has the chance to be driven in by Austin Riley, Matt Olson and a plethora of other quality hitters in the Atlanta lineup. There’s a lot to like about this situation, outside of the bummer that is the Acuña Jr. injury. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:05 pm
