    • Wins with quality start
Pivetta (4-4) allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over Toronto.

Advice: Pivetta gave up one run through five frames before allowing solo homers to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively. Pivetta is 2-0 with a 3.50 ERA in three starts this month after posting a disappointing 5.55 ERA in May. For the season, he owns a 3.88 ERA alongside a 59:14 K:BB through 10 starts. Pivetta's next start is projected to be in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Sonny Gray goes 7 2/3 in no-decision vs. Marlins
Sonny Gray allowed two runs over 7 2/3 innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Gray was long gone before this one was decided in a 12-inning marathon, but he managed to complete seven frames for the second consecutive start. He struck out four and only issued two walks. The 34-year-old righty has been excellent this season in his St. Louis debut, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 10 of his 13 starts so far. He’ll bring a solid 2.95 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 95/22 K/BB ratio across 76 1/3 innings (13 starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Giants. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago
    • Pivetta picks up fourth win against Blue Jays
Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in seven innings and got the win in the Red Sox’ 7-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Pivetta gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out four. It was his fourth win in 10 starts this season and he’s now won two of his last three starts. Pivetta allowed a sacrifice fly to Isiah Kiner-Falefa and solo home runs to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider, but that was it for the Toronto offense. His ERA is now 3.88 on the season. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 7:08 pm

    • Making rehab start Wednesday
Padres manager Mike Shildt said that Darvish (groin) will make a rehab start Wednesday with High-A Fort Wayne, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The upcoming rehab start will take a potential return from the 15-day injured list off the table this week, but Darvish shouldn't need more than one tune-up outing in the minors before slotting back into the San Diego rotation. Darvish previously bypassed a rehab assignment when he was on the IL earlier this season due to neck tightness, but the Padres will act more cautiously with the right-hander this time around while he works his way back from a left groin strain that has thus far kept him out for three weeks. • Yu Darvish (groin) set for rehab start Wednesday
The Padres will have Yu Darvish make a rehab start with high-A Fort Wayne on Wednesday.

Advice: If that goes well, he’ll probably jump right back into the major league rotation at the beginning of next week. Darvish has been out since May 29 with a groin strain. Adam Mazur presumably will make one more start for the Padres this week. Rotoworld Today, 2:14 pm

    • Absent from lineup
Bader is out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Rangers.

Advice: Bader had manned center field for the last two contests and five of the previous six games but will begin Monday's series opener on the bench. Tyrone Taylor will fill in for Bader in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 2:01 pm
    • Michael Wacha will begin a rehab assignment
Royals RHP Michael Wacha (foot) will begin a rehab assignment on Monday in the Arizona Complex League.

Advice: Wacha was hit in the foot by a comebacker on May 31st and was placed on the IL with a fracture a couple of days later. He threw a three-inning simulated game last Thursday and reported no issues, so he’ll step up to a short rehab start and continue to work his way back from there. Provided his foot responds well to this start, he could quickly move through the rehab process. Rotoworld Today, 12:36 pm
    • Michael Massey starting rehab at AAA
Royals 2B Michael Massey (back) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday night with Triple-A Omaha.

Advice: Massey has been sidelined with a back injury since May 26th. The 26-year-old has had two instances of the same back injury this season, and this most recent one required an anti-inflammatory injection, which is not great news. However, he does seem to be on the way back, which is good news for the Royals and fantasy managers. He should slot right back into an everyday role when he returns, but it might take him at least a week to get to that point. Rotoworld Today, 12:33 pm
    • Ready for rehab assignment
Massey (back) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at Triple-A Omaha.

Advice: On the shelf with a low back ligament sprain, Massey received an injection May 31 and appears to have responded favorably. He was cleared to resume baseball activities early last week and has checked out fine after steadily increasing the intensity of his hitting and running over the last several days. The Royals haven't determined how long Massey's rehab assignment will last, but he may only need two or three games with Omaha to get his timing back at the plate before potentially making his return from the 10-day injured list as soon as this weekend.
