    • Collects three more hits Tuesday
Profar went 3-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Profar extended his modest hitting streak to seven games, and he has three multi-hit performances over that stretch. The veteran logged his third straight game in the leadoff spot Tuesday and is batting atop the lineup again Wednesday versus right-hander Graham Ashcraft. Profar has been arguably the Padres' best hitter in the early part of the campaign, slashing .318/.413/.505 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base through 33 games. • Sitting out Wednesday
Jeffers is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the White Sox.

Advice: Jeffers had started each of the last seven contests (four at designated hitter and three at catcher) but will get some rest Wednesday. Christian Vazquez will catch for starting pitcher Bailey Ober as the Twins attempt to win their 10th straight game. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 am
    • Converts 10th save
Suarez pitched a perfect ninth inning to lock down his 10th save of the year in a 6-4 win over the Reds on Tuesday. He struck out one.

Advice: Suarez continues to let Padres fans live in peace about letting Josh Hader walk this past offseason. He's now a perfect 10-for-10 in save opportunities and is tied with Ryan Helsley atop the league. Suarez now owns an 0.71 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 11:4 K:BB in 12.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 5:01 am
    • Plates three during win
Turang went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a run scored, a walk and stole a base during Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Turang's RBI single in the second inning drove in Jackson Chourio to give Milwaukee a 2-0 lead, and his seventh-inning double scored another two runs, pushing the score to 8-2. The 24-year-old second baseman continues to look like a reformed hitter, batting .312 through 93 at-bats this season -- a drastic improvement from his .218 average last year -- and his 14 stolen bases rank second in the majors. • Robert Suarez gets 10th save in 10 chances
Robert Suarez earned his 10th save with a perfect ninth against the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The Padres haven’t missed Josh Hader thus far, though it would have been nice if they had redistributed Hader’s money to the offense. Suarez is 10-for-10 saving games with a 0.71 ERA in 12 2/3 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:05 pm
    • Hard-luck loss Tuesday
Berrios (4-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Royals, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Berrios was solid Tuesday, holding the Royals to two runs on a Michael Massey homer in the second inning, en route to a sixth quality start in seven outings this year. However, the 29-year-old Berrios was ultimately stuck with a second straight loss to Kansas City as the Blue Jays could only muster a lone run off Cole Ragans. Berrios lowered his ERA to an excellent 1.44 with a 1.01 WHIP and 31:13 K:BB through 43.2 innings this season. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next start, currently lined up for next week in Philadelphia. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
    • José Berríos gets tough luck loss against Royals
José Berríos allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings in a loss to the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Berríos was good, but Cole Ragans was just better. Berríos also struck out just three on the evening while walking one and posting just a 13 percent whiff rate. He did register a 27 percent CSW thanks to his ability to pound the zone with his sinker, but his curve and changeup couldn’t consistently find the zone and he got few chases out of the zone on that breaking ball which limited his overall effectiveness. Berríos has outpitched his peripheries so far this year and there is some regression coming on his 1.44 ERA but you can still start him every game while he’s pitching like this, including next week against the Phillies. • Turang drives in three as Brewers down Rays
Brice Turang went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Turang singled in the second inning to bring home Jackson Chourio, giving the Brewers an early 2-0 lead, but that was just the start of a strong night for the young second baseman. Turang would later double in the seventh inning, driving in two more runs to put the Brewers up 8-2. Turang has upped his RBI total to 12 on the season and his hitting a solid .312 through the first month of the season.

    • Ramping up baseball work
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Tuesday that Robert (hip) is taking batting practice and running at 80 percent, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old is about halfway through the short end of his initial recovery timeline of 6-to-8 weeks, and he appears to be a bit ahead of schedule. Robert could be ready to rejoin the White Sox in mid-May, but the organization is likely to remain cautious as he ramps up his baseball activities over the next couple weeks.
