      Cal Raleigh picked up an RBI on a fielder’s choice to give the Mariners a 3-2 win over the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: The Mariners scored all of their runs in bizarre fashion Friday, and Raleigh made sure the game-winner was a dribbler that was good enough to score J.P. Crawford from third and give Seattle the win. The 27-year-old backstop has really struggled to hit for average, but has helped as a ron-producer with 50 RBI in through the first 84 games of the year.       Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Friday that Moreno (thumb) will catch five innings in an Arizona Complex League game Saturday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

      Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list June 22 due to a sprained left thumb, but Lovullo said earlier in the week that he expects the catcher to return after the minimum 10 days.       Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Wednesday the club is looking for Moreno (thumb) to return after a minimum stay on the 10-day injured list, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports. He's eligible to return next Tuesday.

      Advice: Moreno, who has been hitting off a tee and playing catch, will begin ramping up Thursday. That's when he'll catch a bullpen session thrown by injured ace Zac Gallen (hamstring). After that, the catcher is scheduled for a game in the Arizona Complex League over the weekend, setting up a potential return Tuesday, when the club kicks off a three-game set on the road against the Dodgers.       Cal Raleigh clobbered a three-run homer on Wednesday, leading the Mariners to a 5-2 victory over the Rays.

      Advice: Raleigh put Seattle ahead for good in a low-scoring series finale at Tropicana Field by walloping a gargantuan 422-foot dinger to right field off Rays reliever Shawn Armstrong in the sixth inning. It was his lone hit of the contest, but he also drew a pair of walks as well.
