    • Stolen base in return to lineup
Cruz went 1-for-4 with a stolen base Sunday against the Giants.

Advice: Cruz was held out of Saturday's lineup after tweaking his ankle in the series opener against the Giants. He notably moved up the order to hit third in his return Sunday and seemed to put the injury issue behind him as he swiped his third base of the season. Cruz is off to a slow start to the campaign, but he's shown some improvement of late by going 8-for-22 with a 25 percent strikeout rate across his last seven games. • Kenley Jansen earns victory against Cubs on Sunday
Kenley Jansen picked up his first victory of the season on Sunday night, working a scoreless ninth inning against the Cubs.

Advice: Jansen took over with the score tied 4-4 heading to the top half of the ninth inning. He did his job, retiring Dansby Swanson, Nick Madrigal and Miguel Amaya in order. The 36-year-old right-hander then became the beneficiary when the Red Sox walked it off in the home half of the frame. For the season, he now holds a 1.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 14/8 K/BB ratio over 9 2/3 innings while converting five of his first six save opportunities. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:55 pm
    • Taijuan Walker gives up six, beats Padres in debut
Taijuan Walker had mixed results in his season debut on Sunday, earning a victory over the Padres despite the fact that he allowed six runs on eight hits over his 6 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: Walker punched out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. The Padres got to him for three runs in the third inning as Fernando Tatis Jr. smacked an RBI double and rode home on a two-run blast by Jake Cronenworth. They tacked on three more as Luis Campusano clubbed a three-run shot in the seventh inning. Walker generated 10 swings and misses on 90 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll hope for better results overall when he squares off against the Giants at home on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:26 pm
    • Ozzie Albies has two hits in win over Guardians
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Albies’ double was a well-hit 321-foot shot at 96 mph off the bat, and it’s good to see him making authoritative contact so soon since being activated off the IL. He now has a .329/.393/.513 slash line and should be back to being locked into all lineups. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:03 pm

    • Christopher Morel returns to Cubs lineup on Sunday
Christopher Morel (hip, elbow) returned to the Cubs’ starting lineup on Sunday.

Advice: Morel was pulled from Saturday’s game after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario in the outfield, but aside from being a bit banged up he’s good to go. Morel is starting at the hot corner and batting cleanup against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox on Sunday night. On the season, the 24-year-old slugger is hitting .219/.296/.365 with three homers, 12 RBI and one stolen base through 26 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm
    • Good to go Sunday
Morel (hip) is starting at third base and batting cleanup Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: The 24-year-old collided with Alexander Canario after making a running catch in the outfield Saturday but is apparently no worse for wear. Morel fell into a 1-for-32 slump over nine contests in mid-May, but his bat has come alive over his past six games with a .781 OPS. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:34 pm
    • Receives breather Sunday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Raleigh started the past three days after missing one contest due to dental procedure, and he'll sit Sunday with it being a day game after a night game. Seby Zavala is starting behind the plate to catch for righty Logan Gilbert. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:34 am

    • Activated for season debut
The Phillies reinstated Walker (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: The veteran right-hander will make his season debut Sunday in San Diego after he missed the first month of the season with a shoulder issue. Walker threw 102 pitches over 6.1 innings during his final rehab appearance, so he likely won't face any significant limitations in his first MLB outing of 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 am
    • Taijuan Walker activated off IL for start Sunday
Phillies activated RHP Taijuan Walker off the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Walker will make his season debut Sunday with a start against the Padres. The right-hander missed the start of the season while recovering from soreness in his right shoulder. There may be some rust to shake off for Walker in his debut, and his lack of swing-and-miss makes him a risky fantasy option even if there wasn’t. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:58 am
