The 36-year-old right-hander then became the beneficiary when the Red Sox walked it off in the home half of the frame.       Taijuan Walker had mixed results in his season debut on Sunday, earning a victory over the Padres despite the fact that he allowed six runs on eight hits over his 6 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: Walker punched out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. The Padres got to him for three runs in the third inning as Fernando Tatis Jr. smacked an RBI double and rode home on a two-run blast by Jake Cronenworth. They tacked on three more as Luis Campusano clubbed a three-run shot in the seventh inning. Walker generated 10 swings and misses on 90 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 28 percent.
