    • Michael Busch sits for second straight game
      Michael Busch is not in the Cubs’ lineup on Monday against the Brewers.

      Advice: With the Brewers throwing a left-handed pitcher, Busch will find himself on the bench; however, he was also on the bench on Sunday. The rookie is hitting 12-for-64 (.188) in May with one home run and a 39.2 percent strikeout rate. If he doesn’t start picking it up soon, it’s fair to wonder how much longer the Cubs will keep him in the starting lineup. Patrick Wisdom will get the start on Monday and has now started three games in a row. He’d likely benefit the most from a decision to dial back on Busch’s playing time.       Advice: Olson's eighth-inning blast off Aroldis Chapman was a no-doubter over the right field wall, clearing the stadium and splashing down in the Allegheny River. Olson had previously added a two-run double and finished the game just a triple short of the cycle.       Michael Busch went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts on Thursday in the Cubs’ shutout loss at the hands of the Braves.

      Advice: Busch is really struggling at the moment, batting .183 (17-for-93) with just one home run over his last 30 games. He’s gone especially frigid at the dish, hitting just .071 (1-for-14) over his past seven contests. The league seems to have made its adjustment to the 26-year-old top prospect and now it’s time for him to strike back.
