    • Kirby Yates earns eighth save vs. D-Backs
Kirby Yates earned his eighth save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Yates had to tightrope out of danger to earn the save in this one. The righty allowed a two-out walk to Eugenio Suárez only to see a single by Gabriel Moreno move Suárez into scoring position. Fortunately for Yates, a strikeout of Kevin Newman would end the game and secure the win for the Rangers, who have now won back-to-back games after dropping their previous six. • Seager’s homer lifts Rangers over Diamondbacks
Corey Seager went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Seager sent his 12th homer of the season 407 feet into the right field stands to give the Rangers a 4-2 lead. It was a three-run homer for Seager, who upped his RBI total to 27 on the season, with 11 of those RBI coming in his last seven games. Seager has now hit safely in 11 straight games, and is slashing an impressive .287/.388/.644 on the month. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago

    • Exits with injury
Megill was removed from Tuesday's game against the Cubs after getting hit in the right arm by a line drive, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Megill entered Tuesday's game in the 10th inning and threw three pitches to Mike Tauchman before getting taking a 99-mph line drive off his right (throwing) arm. Megill immediately came out of the game and will presumably head into the clubhouse for imaging. The Brewers should have more information on his status following Tuesday's contest. • Trevor Megill exits after being hit by line drive
Trevor Megill left Tuesday’s relief appearance against the Cubs with an apparent injury.

Advice: Ouch. Megill was struck on the right elbow by a 99-mph line-drive off Mike Tauchman’s bat in the 10th inning of Tuesday’s showdown against the Cubs and immediately left the contest. The 30-year-old righty will likely head for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Eovaldi goes three innings in return from IL
Nathan Eovaldi allowed two earned runs over three innings in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: After pitching a perfect first inning, Eovaldi ran into trouble in the second, allowing the first three batters he faced to reach base, with Pavin Smith doubling home Christian Walker to give the Diamondbacks their first run of the night. He would give up another run in the inning on a Eugenio Suárez sacrifice fly. He would only pitch one more inning before being pulled after 37 pitches, functioning somewhat as an opener for the Rangers after the team opted to scratch Dane Dunning from his scheduled start. It was Eovaldi’s first outing since May 2nd after he was placed on the 15-day IL with a groin strain. If he’s back on the five-game rotation, his next start would be scheduled for Monday against the Tigers. Rotoworld 59 minutes ago

    • Pavin Smith doubles, drives in one in loss
Pavin Smith went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Smith doubled off Nathan Eovaldi in the second inning to drive in Christian Walker and give the Diamondbacks an early 1-0 lead. Smith has now tallied four hits in his last 13 at-bats and is well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Today, 7:26 pm

    • Pfaadt allows four earned runs in loss to Rangers
Brandon Pfaadt allowed six hits and four earned runs over seven innings in the Diamondbacks’ loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Pfaadt got some early run support in the second inning but the Diamondbacks were unable to keep pace with the Rangers, who hung three runs on Pfaadt in the fifth inning via a Corey Seager three-run homer. Pfaadt allowed three or more earned runs in three of his five starts in May, and picked up just one win on the month. Pfaadt will carry a 4.16 ERA and 1.07 WHIP into his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Mets. Rotoworld Today, 7:23 pm
    • Luis Robert Jr. (hip) homers Tuesday at Triple-A
Luis Robert Jr. (hip) belted a solo homer on Tuesday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Robert made some noise right away in his first rehab contest at the Triple-A level with a towering blast in his first at-bat of the night. He finished 1-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart will likely get a couple more rehab games under his belt before returning to Chicago, but he’s not far away at this juncture. He’s been out since early April due to a Grade 2 hip flexor strain. Rotoworld Today, 7:22 pm

    • Jordan Wicks strikes out five in rehab outing
Jordan Wicks (forearm) allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: Wicks struck out five and only issued one walk, throwing 52 pitches (31 strikes) in his latest rehab outing. The 24-year-old lefty figures to be ready to return to Chicago’s starting rotation at some point in early June. Rotoworld Today, 7:21 pm
