    • Kyle Tucker slugs eighth homer in loss to Guardians
Kyle Tucker went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday against the Guardians.

Advice: Trailing by one run, Tucker led off the seventh inning with the game-tying homer off of Triston McKenzie. The 27-year-old star has gone deep in three of his last four games, giving him eight homers while slashing .298/.407/.570 with 21 runs scored, 21 RBI, and five steals across 136 plate appearances. • Back on bench Wednesday
Renfroe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Renfroe looked to be on the outs for an everyday role when he was held out of the lineup for consecutive games last Thursday and Friday, but he started in each of the past four games. However, Renfroe went just 1-for-12 with two walks in those contests, and he now finds himself back on the bench while his season-long slash line now sits at .150/.218/.263. Adam Frazier will get the nod in right field Wednesday, and manager Matt Quartaro could be inclined to lean on a timeshare between Frazier and Renfroe at that spot in the lineup until one player starts to heat up at the plate. • Homers in second straight
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Tucker took advantage of the offensive environment in Mexico City, homering in each of Houston's two contests there. He now has seven home runs on the season and has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. It comes as no surprise that Tucker has remained an excellent five-category contributor, highlighted by 39 combined RBI and runs scored as well as five stolen bases across 28 contests. • Not starting Sunday
Arozarena is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Arozarena started the previous nine games but will receive a breather after he went 4-for-34 with 13 strikeouts during that span. Harold Ramirez will shift to left field while Austin Shenton starts at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:13 am
    • Randy Arozarena out Sunday against White Sox
Randy Arozarena is not in the lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Arozarena will get a day of rest for the finale Sunday. The outfielder has been atrocious to open the 2024 season with a .154 average and .488 OPS over a not-so-small sample of 104 at-bats. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:00 am
    • Kyle Tucker goes deep as Astros top Rockies
Kyle Tucker smacked his sixth home run of the season on Saturday night as the Astros topped the Rockies in Mexico City.

Advice: Tucker went back-to-back with teammate Yordan Alvarez in the third inning, with Tucker’s 409-foot (97.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Cal Quantrill increasing the Astros’ lead to 4-2. He also singled, walked and scored a total of three runs in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. He’s having another terrific all-around season at the plate, slashing a robust .291/.402/.534 with six long balls, 18 RBI and five stolen bases through his first 27 games. • Sitting again Friday
Renfroe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Renfoe isn't starting for the second straight game and for the third time in Kansas City's past four contests. The 32-year-old has a .149/.208/.284 slash line in 72 plate appearances and appears to be losing his grip on an everyday role. Adam Frazier will receive a start in right field Friday. • Moves to bench Thursday
Renfroe is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Renfroe will sit for the second time in three days while Kansas City opens up room in the outfield for Adam Frazier, who will occupy left field while MJ Melendez shifts over to right. Through 72 plate appearances this season, Renfroe is slashing just .149/.208/.284 with two home runs and 10 RBI. He could be in danger of fading into a part-time role in the Kansas City outfield. • Ends homer drought
Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Arozarena went deep in his first plate appearance of the game, snapping a 19-start homeless drought. He struck out in his remaining three at-bats and has now punched out three times in three of his last five contests. Arozarena has gotten off to a poor start to the season, highlighted by a .158 average and a 29.1 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:53 am
