Hader had turned in three consecutive appearances without giving up an earned run prior to Sunday, though he's now been charged with at least one run in six of his 15 appearances.       Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.

      Advice: Hernandez homered for the second time in three games and has tallied at least a hit in 10-of-12 games since April 23. The 31-year-old is slashing .252/.320/.468 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 23 runs and a 13:49 BB:K in 153 plate appearances. Hernandez is showing increased signs of power from a year ago but strikeouts still remain an issue.       Advice: Ohtani moved into a tie for first place in the majors with his ninth and 10th home runs of the season, and his perfect day at the dish also brought his average up to .364, vaulting him past the Phillies' Alec Bohm (.360) for the best mark in baseball. The lefty-hitting Ohtani did all his damage against southpaws, opening the day with a two-run blast in the first inning and base hits in the third and sixth innings off Max Fried before tacking on a 464-foot solo shot off A.J.       Walker (2-0) earned the win over the Giants on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.1 innings.

      Advice: The Giants got to Walker in the opening frame with a run, but he was able to silence them the rest of the way until Thairo Estrada crushed a two-run blast in the seventh to make it a 5-3 ballgame and end Walker's night. Walker has now carried strong outings into the seventh in back-to-back starts to open up the season but hasn't quite been able to seal the deal. He has a 3.00 ERA through innings 1-6 and a 67.50 ERA in the seventh frame. His spot in the rotation is secure after the Phillies announced Spencer Turnbull would be operating as a bulk relief option moving forward.       Taijuan Walker posted a quality start in Sunday night’s victory over the Giants, surrendering three runs on five hits across 6 1/3 strong innings of work.

      Advice: Walker racked up seven strikeouts on the evening while issuing just one free pass. The Giants scratched out a run in the opening inning on an RBI double by Michael Conforto, then Walker shut them down completely until Thairo Estrada connected on a two-run blast in the seventh. The 31-year-old hurler got just six swings and misses on 90 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 30 percent.       Devers went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

      Advice: After opening the game 0-for-3, Devers singled and later came around to score in the top of the eighth inning before launching a two-run home run off Jay Jackson in the following frame. The long ball was his fourth of the season and his first in 10 games. Since returning from a bone bruise in his left knee April 24, Devers has batted .415 with two homers, seven RBI and eight runs scored over 41 at-bats in 11 contests.       Shohei Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored on Sunday, leading the Dodgers to a 5-1 win over the Braves.

      Advice: This guy is pretty good. Ohtani got things started in the first inning with a 412-foot two-run shot off of Max Fried and then absolutely annihilated a 464-foot solo homer in the eighth inning that left the bat at 110.6 mph.     • Josh Hader yields go-ahead homer in ninth
      Josh Hader lost after giving up a go-ahead homer in a tie game Sunday against the Mariners.

      Advice: It’s the save situations in which Hader has struggled, but the loss today came after he was asked to preserve a tie. Cal Raleigh’s homer was the second surrendered by Hader in 14 2/3 innings this year.       Advice: Bednar allowed a two-out double but otherwise looked sharp for the second consecutive day as he earned his sixth save Sunday, dropping his ERA to 9.69 and WHIP to 1.46 in the process. Despite the scoreless effort, the Pirates' stopper has allowed at least one run in seven of his 15 appearances this season. Pirate fans and fantasy managers alike hope these last two performances against the listless Rockies will serve as a momentum boost for Bednar, who entered the season as one of the top closers in baseball.
