      Ryan Helsley picked up his 14th save of the season against the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: Helsley pitched another scoreless ninth inning, which was his 15th consecutive appearance without allowing an earned run. He walked Austin Hays with two outs before getting Cedric Mullens to fly out to end the game. Helsley last allowed an earned run on April 8th.     • Henderson blasts 16th home run Monday
      Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

      Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game.     • Gray appears to ask out of game Monday
      Sonny Gray allowed one earned run, struck out six in 5 2/3 innings, picked up the win and appeared to ask Cardinals manager Oli Marmol to remove him from the game in the Cardinals’ 6-3 victory over the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: We’ll have another update on Gray’s status when we know more. The win was Gray’s sixth of the season. He cruised through the first five innings. In the sixth inning, after two men reached on errors, he allowed a three-run home run to Gunnar Henderson. Four batters later, he appeared to ask out of the game and was removed for JoJo Romero, who escaped the jam. The 34-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cubs at home on Saturday.

      Houck (4-5) yielded two hits and a walk over seven shutout frames Monday, striking out five and earning a win over Tampa Bay.

      Advice: Houck was terrific Monday and didn't let any baserunners reach scoring position. It was his fourth scoreless start of the year, dropping his season ERA to 1.94 through 65 frames. Houck entered Monday's start on a four-game losing streak over his previous five starts. However, he registered an impressive 2.87 ERA during that span.       Tanner Houck fired seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the Rays.

      Advice: Houck authored another brilliant performance, scattering just two hits and one walk over seven nearly-flawless frames. He finished with five strikeouts and allowed just six batted balls with an exit velocity over 92 mph in this one. He’ll carry a sparkling 1.94 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 62/12 K/BB ratio across 65 innings (10 starts) into a home tilt on Sunday against the Brewers.       Orioles manager Brandon Hyde mostly confirmed Monday that Craig Kimbrel is again Baltimore’s closer.

      Advice: It’s no surprise after Kimbrel picked up a clean save Sunday, but confirmation is always nice. MASN’s Steve Melewski quoted Hyde as saying: “Well yeah, I think so. Probably.       Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: Henderson is on a tear with five homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. His blast Sunday was another leadoff homer against Mariners starter George Kirby. Henderson is leading the majors with 15 long balls to go with seven steals, 31 RBI, 34 runs scored, four doubles, four triples and a .270/.348/.598 slash line over 44 contests.
