    • Collects AL-leading 20th save
Clase gave up a run on two hits and struck out two in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his 20th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: He made things interesting with two outs in the ninth, allowing an RBI single to Jonathan India and then plunking Blake Dunn to bring the winning run to the plate, but Clase got TJ Friedl to line out to Brayan Rocchio to end the threat. The right-hander has converted seven straight save chances, putting him one ahead of the Yankees' Clay Holmes for the AL lead in the category, and despite getting tagged for runs in each of his last two appearances, Clase sports a dazzling 0.84 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB through 32.1 innings on the season. • Gabriel Moreno goes 3-for-5, doubles twice
Gabriel Moreno finished 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI against the Angels on Tuesday.

Advice: Both doubles left his bat at 106 mph. The second, hit 407 feet to center, would have been a homer in 18 ballparks. Moreno has been quite a disappointment this season, and it seems unlikely that he’ll wind up building on last year’s modest power numbers. Still, he should easily better his current .240 average the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:49 pm

    • Takes loss against Pirates
Helsley (2-3) took the loss Tuesday against Pittsburgh, allowing two runs on one hit and two walks with a strikeout over one inning.

Advice: Helsley took the mound in the top of the ninth with the score 0-0, but couldn't keep the game at a stalemate. The 29-year-old walked Jack Suwinski, yielded a single to Andrew McCutchen and walked Bryan Reynolds to load the bases with no outs. Suwinski and McCutchen ended up coming around to score before Helsley was able to record three outs, marking the closer's first loss since April 19 and bumping his ERA up from 2.25 to 2.79 through 29.0 innings. • Hangs on for save
Bednar picked up the save Tuesday against St. Louis, allowing a solo home run and a walk with two strikeouts during the ninth inning.

Advice: Bednar took the mound with the Pirates ahead by two and yielded a homer to Nolan Gorman to kick off the ninth. While he retired Nolan Arenado and Brendan Donovan back-to-back, Bednar walked Jose Fermin and a catcher's interference put runners on first and second. However, Bednar avoided disaster, striking out Mike Siani to complete his 14th save. Although he owns a 5.40 ERA, Bednar ranks eighth in saves and owns a 30:7 K:BB across 28.1 innings. • Notches pair of hits
McMahon went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo homer and an additional run during Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: McMahon generated his first multi-hit game since May 22, scoring in the sixth inning after reaching on a double and then swatting a solo homer off Cole Sands in the eighth inning. The third baseman had been in a rut prior to Tuesday's game, going 2-for-29 with two runs and no RBI in the past seven games. Still, McMahon owns a .788 OPS with 11 home runs across 66 games this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:40 pm

    • Yelich doubles in shutout loss to Blue Jays
Christian Yelich went 1-for-4 with a double in the Brewers’ 3-0 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Yelich’s double was one of just five hits the Brewers could muster on the night as Yusei Kikuchi and the Blue Jays bullpen shut them down all evening. Yelich is slashing .278/.341/.306 on the month with no home runs Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:17 pm

    • Emmanuel Clase locks down 20th save of the season
Emmanuel Clase allowed one run on two hits in the ninth inning but was able to close the door on a 5-3 win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: It was an uncharacteristically chaotic inning for Clase who allowed two singles and hit a batter while allowing one run to balloon his ERA to 0.84 on the season. He did strike out two en route to his 20th save on the season. He remains perhaps the best closer in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:42 pm
    • Josh Naylor has two hits, HR in win
Josh Naylor went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: Naylor blooped in a 79 mph single in the third inning that scored a run, but he certainly got all of his home run in the eighth inning, hitting it 425 feet at 109 mph for his 17th home run on the season. The .224 batting average might not be what you were looking for but the power and 50 RBIs have been elite for Naylor this season. He may be sacrificing a bit of average for power, but he also came into this game with a .200 BABIP, which is well below his career mark of .283. The batting average should continue to tick up as the summer goes on. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:40 pm

    • McMahon hits 11th homer of season vs. Twins
Ryan McMahon went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Both of McMahon’s hits went for extra bases, but it was his homer in the eighth inning that stretched the Rockies’ lead to 5-2. It was McMahon’s 11th homer on the season and his first of June after he slugged six in May. He’s slashing a meager .154/.214/.282 on the month and has seen his average regress back to the norm after hitting over .300 the first month of the season.
