    • Charged with blown save
Miller struck out one batter and walked one over 1.2 innings Friday against Minnesota. He was charged with a blown save during the loss.

Advice: Miller entered the game in the eighth inning with the bases jammed and immediately walked in the game-tying run. He then retired five straight batters before the Twins went on to win in the 10th. Miller's ERA dropped to 2.27, as he was not charged with a run, but he's now blown two of his last three save chances dating back to May 30. Rotowire.com Today, 4:52 am

    • Freddy Peralta surrenders six runs to Reds
Freddy Peralta was tagged for six runs in 5 1/3 innings by the Reds on Friday.

Advice: We sure do miss the Peralta of April. He gave up 10 hits tonight, which matches his total from both his first three starts and his second three starts. In fact. he had never before surrendered 10 hits in an outing. His velocity has held steady, and he got 16 missed swings tonight, but the Brewers couldn’t pick him up in this one. He’ll take a 4-4 record and a 4.38 ERA into his next start against the Angels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:24 pm

    • Getting breather Friday
Velazquez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: After starting in each of the Royals last four games, Velazquez will get the day off Friday. Adam Frazier will DH and bat fifth while Drew Waters handles right field and bats eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:36 pm
    • Tagged with seventh loss
Canning (2-7) took the loss against the Diamondbacks on Thursday, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk over six innings while striking out three.

Advice: Canning got himself into trouble early after allowing two of the first three batters to reach base, which Christian Walker would capitalize on with a three-run shot to left field. The right-hander would allow only two hits from that point on, though one of those hits was a second long ball by Walker, putting Los Angeles in a 4-0 hole. Canning had not allowed more than three runs in any of his last seven outings coming in and Thursday marked only the third time this season he's surrendered multiple home runs. He has, however, managed to go at least six innings in three consecutive starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:10 am
