    • On base three times
Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Albies began his day with a double and later led off the fourth with a single before stealing second and coming around to score on a base hit from Matt Olson. Albies has notched a double in three straight games and now has four multi-hit efforts in July. The 27-year-old switch hitter heads into the break slashing .258/.312/.410 with eight homers, 44 RBI, 47 runs, eight steals and a 24:59 BB:K in 381 plate appearances. • Goes deep in loss
Crawford went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Crawford opened up the scoring with a solo blast in the sixth for his only hit of the afternoon. He'll head into the break with a six-game on-base streak and two home runs over his last four games. It's been a struggle overall for the 29-year-old, who is slashing .209/.304/.358 with nine homers, 32 RBI, 41 runs and a 38:72 BB:K in 322 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 6:42 am

    • Notches third steal
Mountcastle went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Mountcastle's steal was his third of the year, putting him one shy of matching his career high. The first baseman's speed isn't notable, but he's been steady at the plate, going 10-for-40 (.250) over 10 contests in July. Overall, he's slashing .271/.311.,447 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI, 44 runs scored, 22 doubles and a triple through 88 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:00 pm
    • Escapes with save
Fairbanks allowed two hits in a scoreless inning and earned a save against the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks was tasked with protecting a 2-0 lead and found himself in danger after coughing up singles to the first two batters he faced. He managed to retire the next three to escape unscathed. Fairbanks has converted 17 of 19 save chances this season while producing a 3.21 ERA and a 32:15 K:BB. Since the start of June, he owns a 2.55 ERA with 12 saves in 17 appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm
    • Returning for Minnesota series
Wheeler (back) played catch in the outfield Sunday and is expected to make his next start for the Phillies on July 22 or 23 versus the Twins in Minnesota, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: A bout with back spasms caused Wheeler to miss out on a start in the Phillies' final game before the All-Star break Sunday versus the Athletics, and it'll also prevent from making his second appearance in the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday. However, the back issue wasn't significant enough to force Wheeler to the injured list, and if he continues to remain free of setbacks in his throwing sessions over the next week, he should be ready to take the hill July 22 or 23 without any restrictions. With a 10-4 record, 2.70 ERA and 0.99 WHIP through 116.2 innings over his 16 outings on the season, Wheeler had been a leading candidate to start for the National League in the All-Star Game, but those duties will now fall to Pirates rookie phenom Paul Skenes. • Luis Arraez (thumb) won’t play in All-Star Game
Luis Arraez (thumb) will not participate in the All-Star Game next week.

Advice: The 27-year-old second baseman said that it was a tough decision to opt out, but that he felt his jammed left thumb needed the rest. Expect the National League to name a replacement to the squad in the upcoming days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:20 pm

Jarren Duran finished 4-for-5 as the Red Sox edged the Royals 5-4 on Sunday.

Advice: Included was his 27th double of the year. He’s tied for third in the majors there while also sporting a league-high 10 triples. Duran will take with him a .284/.342/.477 line as he heads to his first All-Star Game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:54 pm

    • Ozzie Albies reaches base three times in victory
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and a run scored on Sunday as the Braves triumphed over the Padres to wrap up the first half of the season.

Advice: Albies smacked a one-out double off of Randy Vasquez in the opening inning but wound up getting stranded at third base. He then led off the fourth inning with a single, swiped second base and raced around to score the Braves’ first run on an RBI single off the bat of Matt Olson. The 27-year-old second baseman finishes the first half hitting .258/.312/.410 with eight homers, 44 RBI and eight stolen bases (in nine attempts). Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:50 pm

    • Fairbanks escapes with 17th save of the season
Pete Fairbanks escaped a jam in the ninth inning to secure his 17th save in a 2-0 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Called on to protect a 2-0 lead, Fairbanks allowed back-to-back singles to start the inning before getting Jose Ramirez to pop out to first, Josh Naylor to line out to center, and David Fry to fly out to left. Both Naylor and Fry made solid contact, but came up empty, and Fairbanks now has 17 saves to go along with a 3.21 ERA heading into the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:06 pm
