      Nico Hoerner went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a stolen base on Wednesday in a 1-0 win over the Mets.

      Advice: Hoerner knocked a double in the first inning, then a single in the fifth. He drew a walk in the eighth to reach for a third time and stole second for his second steal of the season. Hoerner has hit out of the leadoff spot for the Cubs over the last two weeks, with both steals coming over that span. The 26-year-old second baseman is hitting .272/.349/.360 with 18 runs scored across 129 plate appearances. Hitting leadoff would help his stolen base rate if he can hold the top spot in the lineup.       Juan Soto singled, walked and stole a pair of bases as the Yankees triumphed over the Orioles on Wednesday evening in Baltimore.

      Advice: Soto smacked a one-out single off of Corbin Burnes in the top half of the first inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. He then worked a leadoff walk in the sixth inning, and once again nabbed second before being thrown out trying to steal third.       Advice: The rookie will bow out of the lineup for the series finale while Jake Bauers picks up a start in left field alongside Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick. After opening his big-league career by producing hits in 11 of his first 13 games, Chourio has fallen into a massive slump since mid-April. Soto extended his hitting streak to eight games -- he's gone 10-for-30 with three homers and a 1.099 OPS in that span.       Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 3-for-6 with an RBI on Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk.

      Advice: Holliday flopped in his first taste of the big leagues as Baltimore continued to challenge him from a development standpoint. However, that shouldn’t diminish fantasy managers’ long-term optimism. The latest multi-hit effort raises his Triple-A slash line to .321/.451/.554 with nine extra-base hits and one steal through 13 contests. He’ll get some extended time in the minors to continue ironing out contact issues and struggles against left-handed pitching, but it’s only a matter of time before he gets another shot in Baltimore.       Advice: Bregman has been off to a slow start this season but has improved of late, as he's collected six hits in his last 23 at-bats. He also slugged his first home run of the season Tuesday. While Bregman has only a .078 ISO in 113 plate appearances this season, he's striking out at just a 12.4 percent clip, meaning his .216 average should continue to rise. It’s been a slow start to the season for Bregman, who entered the day slashing .216/.287/.268. He’s hit safely in four of his last five games and could be on the verge of finally heating up. Robert could be ready to rejoin the White Sox in mid-May, but the organization is likely to remain cautious as he ramps up his baseball activities over the next couple weeks.
