      Advice: Kremer got his pitch count up to 75 and looks ready to return from the 15-day injured list from a workload standpoint, but it's unclear if Baltimore is keen on slotting him back into the rotation while he's largely struggled during the minor-league assignment.       Dean Kremer allowed four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday.

      Advice: Itā€™s another poor rehab start for Kremer, who now has an 11.42 ERA during his rehab assignment. He did strike out five while throwing 75 pitches, so itā€™s possible he could be up to 80-90 pitches in his next outing.       Advice: Alvarez touched up Yankees starter Luis Gil for a two-run homer in the third inning and added a run-scoring double in the fifth. The catcher also singled for his third three-hit performance during his current nine-game hitting streak.       Advice: While far from a breakout on offense, Goldschmidt has hit safely in nine straight games. In that span, he's gone 11-for-37 (.297) with a 3:12 BB:K, two home runs and five RBI. The first baseman's power and consistency are slowly returning, but he's still striking out at a 29.5 percent rate, his worst mark since his rookie year.       Advice: Donovan's eight-game hitting streak ended in the matinee with an 0-for-2 effort, but he bounced back in the nightcap, which was his eighth multi-hit effort in June.
