      Advice: Morel extended the Cubs’ lead to 4-0 in the fifth with a three-run blast off Adrian Houser. The second-year infielder has gone deep five times, and he’s now up to 17 RBI over Chicago’s 32 games.       Kwan went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and two RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Astros.

      Advice: Kwan's RBI triple in the fifth inning gave the Guardians a 2-0 lead, and he plated the decisive run with a double in the 10th. He ended up a home run short of the cycle in Wednesday's strong performance. The leadoff hitter has gone 11-for-28 (.393) during his seven-game hitting streak, and he's slashing an excellent .360/.403/.512 with three homers, 11 RBI, 27 runs scored, three stolen bases, six doubles and two triples over 29 contests this season.       Advice: That's now five hits in the last four games for Riley, while Wednesday's three-bagger was his first extra-base hit since April 17. The third baseman is slashing a disappointing .235/.311/.387 through 29 contests with two homers and 16 RBI, but he still sports an 89th percentile barrel rate and 85th percentile hard-hit rate on the season, and there's little cause for worry about his slow first month.       Advice: Wong has been a consistent producer at the dish, never going more than one game without a hit. The catcher, who recorded his eighth multi-hit game Wednesday, is slashing .366/.367/.620 through 75 plate appearances. Those numbers are sure to correct -- a .412 BABIP indicates that -- but Wong has improved his contact rate on pitches in the zone, jumping up to 84.2 percent compared to 74.3 percent in 2023.       Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Kwan drove in a run with a triple in the fifth. He came through in a big spot in the tenth, driving in the go-ahead run with a double. Kwan capped off his day with a game-ending diving catch in the bottom of the inning.       Advice: Wong started things in the fourth inning with a leadoff double off of Daulton Jefferies, then raced around to score on an RBI double by Enmanuel Valdez. He also drove in a run of his own with a two-out RBI double off of Mitch White in the seventh inning.       Advice: Riley scalded a 102.7 mph opposite-field triple off the right-field wall in the fourth inning to give Atlanta a commanding four-run lead at the time. The 27-year-old fantasy stalwart hasn’t exactly set the world ablaze in the opening month of the year, batting .235 with just two homers in 29 contests to date, but he’s still got plenty of time to get it going.       Sal Frelick went 0-for-5 as the Brewers’ leadoff man on Wednesday.

      Advice: Power wasn’t always going to be an issue for Frelick, but one imagined there’s be some gains from his rookie season. Instead, he’s homerless in 116 plate appearances, and he has both a lower walk rate and a higher strikeout rate than last year.
