Garcia went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Garcia has hit safely in five straight games, going 8-for-22 (.364) with two steals, four RBI and four runs scored in that span. He continues to improve at the plate as he shakes off a slow start to the campaign. Overall, the 24-year-old is slashing .231/.280/.388 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 15 runs scored and eight steals through 30 contests this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:45 pm

    • Maikel Garcia picks up hit in loss
Maikel Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double in loss to the Tigers.

Advice: It wasn’t a tremendous performance from Garcia, but the Royals had just four hits on the day. The double gave Garcia a hit in eight of his last 10 games to up his slash line to .223/.276/.384. If he was dropped after his cold stretch, you should be adding him because the 24-year-old remains a talented hitter who will play every day in Kansas City. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:46 pm

He's added three steals and five RBI in that span while continuing to sit atop the Royals' order. The third baseman is slashing .222/.277/.380 with four home runs, seven steals, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored over 27 contests this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:55 am

    • Ha-Seong Kim swats two-run homer vs. Rockies
Ha-Seong Kim hit a two-run homer Thursday against the Rockies while going 1-for-4.

Advice: Kim swatted a two-run homer in the third inning, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the shortstop. The 28-year-old has shown some pop in the early portion of the season, and he’s also added seven stolen bases for good measure. The .240 average leaves a bit to be desired, for those looking for something to complain about. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:17 pm

    • Maikel Garcia swipes two bases against Blue Jays
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a pair of steals on Wednesday in a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Garcia is warming up at the plate after falling into a slump with his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. He knocked a base hit in the second inning to drive in a run before stealing second. He added another base hit in the fifth and stole third for his second steal of the game. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .206/.255/.381 with four homers, 16 RBI, and six steals across 106 plate appearances. His batting average should continue to rise as he’s posting an excellent hard-hit rate and making plenty of contact. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:35 pm
