      Mitchell Parker allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings on Thursday in a loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: Parker got into trouble in the third inning when he gave up a trio of run-scoring hits, which accounted for all of the damage against him. He struck out five and only issued a pair of walks. The 24-year-old rookie right-hander has allowed three earned runs or fewer in four consecutive outings since getting the call to the majors back on April 15, but he’s struggled to work deep into contests.
