    Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Westburg did his damage early, lifting a two-run blast in the first inning. He had gone 0-for-7 over the first two games of the weekend series in Cincinnati. The homer was his first since April 21 and his sixth of the year.   • Jordan Westburg homers in win over Reds
    Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

    Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks.     McMahon went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

    Advice: The 29-year-old led off the sixth inning by hammering a Martin Perez changeup out of PNC Park completely and into the Allegheny River, becoming only the second Colorado player in history to accomplish the feat after Todd Helton back in 2001. Three of McMahon's five homers this year have come in the last eight games, and the power surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .319/.407/.513 with 13 runs and 19 RBI in 32 contests.   • Ryan McMahon goes 2-for-5, homers in win
    Ryan McMahon went 2-for-5 and hit his fifth homer Friday against the Pirates.

    Advice: Both hits were against a lefty in Martín Pérez. If McMahon were on a better team, he’d probably be a platoon player at this point, as he was bad against lefties in 2022 and even worse last season.   • Ryan McMahon reaches three times in loss Wednesday
    Ryan McMahon doubled and drew a pair of walks on Wednesday night as the Rockies fell to the Marlins in Miami.

    Advice: McMahon worked a two-out walk off of Roddery Munoz in the opening inning and went to third on a single by Elias Diaz, but the Rockies couldn’t cash him in. He then smacked a one-out double in the sixth inning that pushed Brenton Doyle to third base and helped contribute to the Rockies’ lone run on the day.     McMahon went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Marlins.

    Advice: McMahon got the Rockies on the board with an RBI single in the first inning before driving in a second run with a double in the 10th. The 29-year-old McMahon now has hits in six straight games, going 8-for-23 with two doubles and two home runs in that span, on the heels of a 1-for-14 stretch.     Gimenez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 10-9 extra-inning loss to the Astros.

    Advice: Gimenez started the Guardians' comeback with a two-run blast in the sixth inning. The second baseman has logged three straight multi-hit efforts following a recent 0-for-11 skid. For the season, he's slashing .280/.347/.374 with one homer, 17 RBI, 17 runs scored, four stolen bases, five doubles and a triple over 122 plate appearances.     Advice: Giménez hit his first home run of the season on Tuesday when he took Cade Smith deep to right for a two-run bomb. Giménez closes out the first month of the season with a line of .280/.347/.374 to go with one homer, 17 RBI, and 17 runs scored.     Ryan McMahon went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

    Advice: McMahon roped a 100.6 mph double and a 97.5 mph single on the day and continues to swing the bat well this season. He’s slashing .321/.397/.495 on the year and now has 18 RBI.
