He's completed six innings only once in his last seven starts, posting a 6.37 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 29:12 K:BB through 35.1 innings over that stretch, but Pittsburgh doesn't have many healthy alternatives for its rotation right now.       Advice: The right-hander didn't let a baserunner get past second base as he delivered his seventh quality start of the season in 10 trips to the mound. Tuesday's outing was also the first time in 2024 that Ryan had issued multiple free passes.       Pfaadt (2-3) got the win over the Dodgers on Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings.

      Advice: Pfaadt picked up a win for the first time since his season-opening start against the Rockies on March 31. His first run allowed was unearned off a throwing error by Gabriel Moreno and then the Dodgers finally got to him in the sixth for a pair. Pfaadt only gave up one barreled ball on the evening and now has five straight quality starts and seven or more strikeouts three times.       Brandon Pfaadt yielded three runs — two earned — over six innings and struck out seven in a victory over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

      Advice: Pfaadt, who has had some hard luck with the Diamondbacks struggling to put runs on the board, won for the first time since his season-opening start against the Rockies on March 31.       Littell didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Boston, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Littell fared better against the Red Sox the second time around, holding them to three hits Tuesday after yielding seven hits and four runs to Boston in his last start. Though the 28-year-old did surrender a solo homer to Jarren Duran, he tied his season high in strikeouts and walked fewer than two batters for the sixth time in his last seven starts. Littell hasn't gone deeper than six innings this season but owns a 3.42 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP across 10 appearances. He's scheduled for a home start against the Athletics next Tuesday.       Bradish allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings Tuesday versus the Cardinals before the game was suspended due to inclement weather in the sixth inning.

      Advice: Bradish likely had more in the tank after throwing 74 pitches (52 strikes), but there's virtually no chance he pitches when play resumes Wednesday. Bradish has looked dialed in through four starts so far, but he's yet to pitch past the fifth inning after having his workload managed following a UCL strain that shelved him for the first month of the season. The right-hander is at a 2.41 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 23:7 K:BB over 18.2 innings so far. It led to a 19 percent CSW on the day, and he’s lucky the final line wasn’t much worse. He’ll take a 4.80 ERA into a weekend showdown against the Braves and should not be started in fantasy leagues.       Andrew Abbott threw seven shutout innings in a win over the Padres on Tuesday, allowing just four hits.

      Advice: Abbott struck out two and walked one. He now has a 2.68 ERA on the year, but he continues to struggle to miss bats. He’s struck out 43 hitters in 57 innings this year and has a swinging strike rate under eight percent. Tonight, he had eight whiffs on 45 swings with a 23 percent CSW. You can keep running Abbott out there in fantasy while he’s pitching well, but he seems like a prime sell-high candidate right now and a really risky start against the Dodgers this weekend.
