    • Picks up third win
Bibee (3-1) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out six.

Advice: All of the damage against Bibee came in the bottom of the third, when he allowed two of the first four batters to reach before surrendering a three-run blast to Taylor Ward. However, the right-hander was able to work his way out of trouble for the rest of the night while inducing 20 swings and misses. Bibee has now logged back-to-back quality starts and has given up three runs or fewer in six of his last eight outings. Saturday also marked his first win since April 21 against the Athletics (span of six starts). Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:49 am

    • Bibee picks up third win Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed three runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 4-3 victory over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee’s win was his third of the season. He allowed six hits, one walk and struck out six. Bibee got touched up by Taylor Ward for a three-run home run, but otherwise held down the Angels offense for the rest of his outing. His ERA is now 3.99 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals at home next week.

    • Report: Nathan Eovaldi unlikely to return Sunday
Jeff Wilson of Rangers Today reports Nathan Eovaldi (groin) is unlikely to return this weekend.

Advice: Eovaldi is progressing towards a return from the injured list, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll return this weekend, as the Rangers are most likely going to roll with a bullpen game for Sunday’s series finale against the Twins. There should be some additional clarity on his return timetable at some point this weekend. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:55 am
    • Earns quality start in loss
Gallen (5-4) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings to take the loss versus the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: Gallen produced his longest outing of the season and his fourth straight quality start, but the Diamondbacks' offense couldn't get anything going as Miami starter Braxton Garrett tossed a shutout. Gallen has permitted more than three runs just once in 10 starts this season, pitching to a 3.12 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 60:15 K:BB over 57.2 innings. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:21 pm

    • Gallen goes seven strong, but picks up loss
Zac Gallen went seven innings while allowing three runs Friday against the Marlins while picking up a loss.

Advice: Gallen allowed a two-run single in the second, and a solo homer to Jake Burger in the fourth. After that — and in-between — the right-hander was effective while walking just one and striking out five. He still picks up a loss with Arizona being dominated by Braxton Garrett while he was in the contest. Gallen takes a 3.12 ERA into a scheduled start against the Mets on Thursday. • Andrew Abbott has next start pushed back two days
Andrew Abbott will have his next scheduled start pushed back from Sunday to Tuesday.

Advice: It’s an encouraging development for fantasy managers, as he’ll now avoid the Dodgers and will instead do battle against the Cardinals at home. The Reds have yet to announce a starter for Sunday’s contest and may wind up utilizing their bullpen heavily in that one instead. Rotoworld Friday, 2:37 pm

    • Shut down after cortisone injection
Senga (shoulder) has been shut down from throwing for three-to-five days after he received a cortisone shot Friday for inflammation in his triceps, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 31-year-old was scratched from a bullpen session last weekend due to triceps tightness, and he underwent an MRI this week that revealed the inflammation. Senga appeared to be close to beginning a rehab assignment as he works his way back from a shoulder capsule strain, but the triceps issue has halted his progress and further clouds his return timeline. • Receiving extra rest
Abbott's next start will come Tuesday against St. Louis, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Abbott was initially scheduled to start Sunday against the Dodgers, but he'll instead get a full week off between starts after tossing seven innings in back-to-back appearances. He'll also trade in a tough matchup with the Dodgers for a significantly easier opponent in the Cardinals. The 25-year-old has a 3-4 record on the season but boasts a 2.68 ERA across 57 innings. • Kodai Senga shut down after latest setback
Kodai Senga (shoulder) will be shut down for the next three-to-five days due to inflammation in his triceps.

Advice: The 31-year-old right-hander had been scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday, but that was scrapped due to the new issue. It has seemingly been one setback after another for Senga as he has attempted to come back from his shoulder injury. There’s no clear timetable as to when he may finally ready to make his 2024 season debut. Rotoworld Friday, 1:10 pm
