      Julio Rodríguez crushed a two-run homer on Sunday afternoon, powering the Mariners to an 8-4 victory over the visiting Athletics.

      Advice: The 23-year-old outfielder has been off to a painfully slow start at the dish this season, so it was good to see him launch a 409-foot (109.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Alex Wood in the second inning — increasing the Mariners’ early lead to 5-0.       Wenceel Perez doubled, walked, stole a base and scored a run as the Tigers triumphed over the Astros on Saturday evening in Motown.

      Advice: Perez drew a walk off of Cristian Javier in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Tigers couldn’t cash him in from there. He then smacked a double off of Javier in the second and rode home on the first of Kerry Carpenter’s home runs on the night.
