    • Solid in no-decision
McKenzie didn't factor into the decision Monday against Detroit, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out six.

Advice: McKenzie settled in nicely after allowing a solo home run to Riley Greene on his first pitch of the day, striking out three straight to close out the first and keeping the Tigers from adding on more runs. He's now allowed two or fewer runs and struck out at least six batters in four consecutive starts, bringing his ERA to 3.97 through 34 innings. However, McKenzie still appears to have the training wheels on after missing most of the 2023 season with elbow and shoulder injuries, as he's been kept under 85 pitches in five of his seven starts this year. McKenzie is tentatively scheduled to face the White Sox in Chicago on Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 pm
    • Yu Darvish spins five scoreless frames vs. Cubs
Yu Darvish tossed five shutout innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: Darvish has reeled off 10 consecutive scoreless frames in a pair of starts since returning from a two-week absence due to neck tightness. The 37-year-old veteran righty finished with five strikeouts, and only issued one walk, scattering three hits over five frames in his return to Wrigley Field. He generated 15 swinging strikes and finished with a respectable 28 percent CSW, despite throwing 62 of 83 pitches for strikes. He’ll bring a strong 2.94 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 30/11 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a challenging matchup on Sunday against the division-rival Dodgers. • Cole Ragans fans eight versus Brewers Monday
Cole Ragans yielded two earned runs on two hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: It was another stellar outing from Ragans, who now has allowed just four earned runs in his past three starts. The only damage against him came off a Gary Sanchez two-run home run. The 26-year-old southpaw has recorded at least eight punch outs in back-to-back games. After allowing seven earned runs to Baltimore on April 20, Ragans has looked sharp and is a must-start for fantasy managers throughout the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:27 pm

    • Wins with scoreless outing
Darvish (2-1) yielded three hits and a walk over five shutout frames Monday, striking out five and earning a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Darvish scattered baserunners throughout his outing but ultimately kept the Cubs quiet for five innings. He was 0-1 with a 4.18 ERA before a brief stint on the injured list. Since returning, he's fired 10 shutout frames and dropped that number to 2.94 across seven starts. Darvish matched his season best with 15 swinging strikes, eight of which came via the slider. Darvish is in line for a tough home matchup with the Dodgers this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:19 pm

    • Punches out eight
Ragans allowed two runs on two hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out eight during the win over Milwaukee.

Advice: The lone blemish on Ragans' line Monday was a two-run shot by Gary Sanchez in the fourth inning. After the long ball, Ragans retired the final seven batters he faced, with three coming via strikeout. He matched his season high by forcing 19 whiffs, with nine coming against his changeup. Since getting hammered for seven runs against the Orioles, Ragans has posted a strong 2.04 ERA and 21:8 K:BB over his last three starts. The 26-year-old will carry a 3.38 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be a road matchup with the Angels this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:01 pm

    • Triston McKenzie allows one run in no-decision
Triston McKenzie allowed one earned run and stuck out six in five innings against the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: McKenzie allowed a home run to Riley Greene on the first pitch of the game and after that, the 26-year-old shut down the Tigers’ offense. McKenzie has at least six strikeouts in four straight games and has gotten his season ERA under four for the first time this season (3.97 ERA). McKenzie will get his next start against the White Sox this weekend, giving him and fantasy managers a solid matchup to improve across all categories. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:40 pm
    • Brice Turang out of lineup Monday vs. Royals
Brice Turang is out of the starting lineup against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Turang will get a rare day off with Joey Ortiz getting a start at second base while he rests. In 2024, Turang has given the Brewers and fantasy teams 14 stolen bases, which has been a pleasant surprise. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:42 pm

    • Getting Monday off
Turang is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Turang -- who is tied for second in the majors with 14 stolen bases -- will hit the bench for just the third time all season in what looks to be a maintenance day. Joey Ortiz will fill in for Turang at the keystone and will bat second. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:40 pm

    • Rangers place Wyatt Langford on IL
Rangers placed OF Wyatt Langford on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: The 22-year-old is hitting .224/.295/.293 in 129 plate appearances with one home run, 13 runs, 11 RBI, and one steal. He’s striking out only 22 percent of the time with a seven percent swinging strike rate so there isn’t any major glaring concern; however, the results simply haven’t been there. The team has said Langford could miss a month and there’s no guarantee that the Rangers will activate him immediately when he is healthy enough to play. The Rangers could allow him to have an extended rehab to help him correct any issues before putting him back in the MLB lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:20 pm
