    • Takes loss against Royals
Berrios (4-1) took the loss Thursday against Kansas City, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks with a strikeout over five innings.

Advice: All of the damage against Berrios came via a Salvador Perez two-run home run in the first inning. Berrios failed to complete six innings for the first time this season, an impossible task considering Thursday's game was called after five frames. The outing snapped Berrios's scoreless inning streak that spanned 21.2 innings. He's tentatively scheduled for another start against the Royals on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:46 pm
    • José Berríos handed loss in rain-shortened start
José Berríos allowed two runs over five innings with just one strikeout on Thursday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Berríos also walked three while allowing three hits. The 29-year-old right-hander had to battle over his five frames, but he was able to hold the Royals scoreless after allowing a two-run homer to Salvador Perez in the first inning. He likely would have been able to go deeper in this game if not for an extended rain delay, as he exited after throwing just 67 pitches. Berrios boasts an excellent 1.23 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 36 2/3 innings (six starts). He’ll be back on the mound with a rematch against the Royals on Tuesday. • Harper has two hits, homers in win over Reds
Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer on Thursday in the Phillies’ win over the Reds.

Advice: The home run was a 384-foot shot off Nick Martinez that left the bat at 101.4 mph. Harper also had a 112 mph single on the day and is now slashing .256/.347/.488 on the year with five home runs and 16 RBI. Expect the batting average to keep rising as Harper remains one of the best hitters for fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm
    • Homers in return
Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Thursday's 5-0 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: After missing Philadelphia's last three games while on the paternity list, Harper returned with a bang Thursday, launching a two-run homer off Nick Martinez to extend the Phillies lead to 4-0 in the third inning. After a slow start to the year, Harper's starting to turn it around at the plate -- he's hit safely in his last seven games, going 10-for-24 with two home runs and nine RBI in that span. He's boosted his slash line to .256/.347/.488 with five homers and 16 RBI across 22 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm
    • Reinstated from paternity leave
The Phillies reinstated Harper (personal) from the paternity leave list Thursday.

Advice: Harper missed the first three games of the series in Cincinnati after welcoming his third child into the world, but he's back for the series finale in Cincinnati. The two-time MVP will start at first base and bat third against the Reds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:16 am
    • Phillies activate Bryce Harper from paternity list
Phillies activated 1B Bryce Harper from the paternity list.

Advice: After a few days off to celebrate the birth of a child, Harper joins the Phillies in their series finale against the Reds. He’ll look to extend his hitting streak to seven games and get the Phillies back on track after consecutive losses to Cincinnati. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 am
    • Homers in loss
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Reynolds got the Pirates on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot off Bryse Wilson, Pittsburgh's only two runs in the eventual defeat. It's the third homer of the year for Reynolds and his first extra-base hit in 13 games. The switch-hitting outfielder is now slashing .263/.386/.411 with 15 RBI, nine runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 25 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:14 am
    • Performance turning around
Diaz went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Diaz got off to a slow start to the season, but he now has at least one hit in seven of his last eight starts. In that span, he also has four multi-hit performances and a .314 batting average. Counting stats haven't followed Diaz's turnaround at the plate, but as the locked-in leadoff hitter, that should also change as the season progresses. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:07 am

    • Notches seventh save
Kimbrel picked up the save against the Angels on Wednesday, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk over one inning while striking out one.

Advice: Kimbrel surrendered a leadoff single to Ehire Adrianza to open the bottom of the ninth, who then advanced to third on a throwing error by Jorge Mateo. This would lead to a run coming home for Los Angeles in the frame on a groundout to make it a 6-5 game, though Kimbrel was able to retire two of the next three batters to nail down his seventh save of the season. The veteran reliever has now converted each of his last seven save attempts after blowing the save to open the campaign, but he's also allowed a hit and a walk in each of his last two appearances.
