    • Reaches base three times
Pena went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Pena entered Tuesday's game having failed to tally an extra-base hit in 10 straight starts. He ended that drought with an RBI double in the third inning and also drove in a run on a sacrifice fly one frame later. Pena is now hitting .302 with five home runs and nine stolen bases across 251 plate appearances on the campaign. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago
    • Six-game hitting streak
Paredes went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: Paredes delivered a two-RBI single in the fifth inning and came around to score in the same frame. He extended his hitting streak to six games with the performance, driving in five and scoring four runs in that span. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Swipes fifth bag
Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Reynolds has enjoyed a productive stretch across his last 12 starts, collecting 14 hits across 52 at-bats. He's also tallied three home runs, 12 RBI and a stolen base in that span. Reynolds has hit second in every game this season and should remain a steady contributor across all five categories. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:29 pm
    • Collects hit in return
Davis went 1-for-3 with a double Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Davis was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis and hit eighth while starting behind the plate. He tallied a double in the seventh inning, only his fourth extra-base hit across 86 plate appearances this season. Davis should find his way into Pittsburgh's lineup regularly so long as Joey Bart (thumb) is sidelined, likely splitting reps at catcher with Yasmani Grandal. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:23 pm

    • Homers in return to majors
Suwinski went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Suwinski was recalled to the majors Tuesday after Ji Hwan Bae (wrist) was placed on the injured list and Michael Taylor on the paternity list. Suwinski immediately returned to the lineup, manning center field while hitting ninth. He accounted for the only run of the contest with a solo home run in the third inning, a positive sign after he managed only four homers across his first 49 games before being demoted to Triple-A Indianapolis on May 22. • Blaze Alexander goes 3-for-4 in Diamondbacks’ win
Blaze Alexander went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored as the Diamondbacks bested the Giants 8-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Alexander was an afterthought in May, but he’s started four straight games to open June and gone 8-for-16 to push his average up to .296. The Diamondbacks clearly aren’t sold on him as an option at shortstop and they have Geraldo Perdomo coming back anyway, so Alexander has to hit to force Torey Lovullo to use him. It’s working right now, but as soon as he turns in a couple of 0-for-4s, he’ll probably head back to the bench. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:51 pm
    • Blake Walston denied win after exiting in fifth
Blake Walston yielded two runs in 4 1/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Giants.

Advice: Walston didn’t get a chance to go for his first big-league victory, as the Diamondbacks pulled him with a 4-1 lead in the fifth. To be fair, he did have two runners on base at the time. The Diamondbacks summoned Kevin Ginkel, usually more of a late-game reliever, and he stranded one of the two runners to make it 4-2. Walston has a 2.84 ERA after two starts and one relief appearance, but it’s concerning that he’s walked nine batters in 12 2/3 innings. He’ll likely get at least one more start before Zac Gallen returns. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:51 pm
    • Paul Seward remains perfect in save opportunities
Paul Sewald struck out two in a scoreless ninth for a save Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Sewald hit Thairo Estrada on his elbow guard to begin the ninth, but he faced no further threat. It was his sixth save in six tries since he came off the injured list a month ago. He’s gone nine straight outings without allowing a run. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:51 pm
    • Kyle Harrison takes loss after quality start
Kyle Harrison gave up four runs — three earned — over six innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Technically, it’s Harrison’s second quality start since the beginning of May. The Giants would have liked a little more from him tonight, but the bullpen was the bigger problem. Harrison is now 4-3 with a 4.18 ERA, though the Giants have gone 9-4 in his starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:51 pm
