      Jake Cronenworth hit a walkoff homer off Joel Payamps as the Padres edged the Brewers 7-6 on Thursday.

      Advice: Payamps couldn’t possibly have made a worse 3-2 pitch, and Cronenworth deposited the breaking ball 355 feet down the right field line for his 11th homer of the year.       Advice: Irvin had a hard time with the Yankees' lineup for much of the afternoon, allowing runs in three of the five innings in which he appeared before being relieved by Bryan Baker. The lefty surrendered two home runs in the contest, something he hadn't done in any of his previous starts coming in, while also matching his season high with five runs allowed.       Advice: The home run was McMahon’s 13th of the year. It was McMahon’s third game in a row with at least two hits. Over his last eight games, he’s 13-for-33 (.393) with three home runs, nine runs scored and six RBI. McMahon is up to .274 with a .826 OPS and 40 RBI on the season.       Dylan Moore homered and stole a base Thursday in a loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Moore shellacked a Logan Allen pitch in the first inning to give Seattle a 2-0 lead. The steal gives the 31-year-old 13 on the season, and it’s the eighth homer of the season.       Arozarena went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run and two stolen bases Wednesday against the Twins.

      Advice: Arozarena extended his hitting streak to a modest five games with the performance. He's been very productive in that span, swatting two homers while also swiping two bags, scoring five runs and driving in five.       Advice: Ragans rattled off his fourth straight quality start, but he's still winless over his last five outings. The four walks were a season high for the southpaw, but it was still a decent performance for him despite the end result. He's maintained a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 109:30 K:BB through 92 innings over 16 starts this season. Ragans is projected to make his next start at home versus the Marlins in a favorable matchup.
