      Jake Cronenworth hit a walkoff homer off Joel Payamps as the Padres edged the Brewers 7-6 on Thursday.

      Advice: Payamps couldn’t possibly have made a worse 3-2 pitch, and Cronenworth deposited the breaking ball 355 feet down the right field line for his 11th homer of the year.       Ryan McMahon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Dodgers on Thursday.

      Advice: The home run was McMahon’s 13th of the year. It was McMahon’s third game in a row with at least two hits. Over his last eight games, he’s 13-for-33 (.393) with three home runs, nine runs scored and six RBI. McMahon is up to .274 with a .826 OPS and 40 RBI on the season.       Dylan Moore homered and stole a base Thursday in a loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Moore shellacked a Logan Allen pitch in the first inning to give Seattle a 2-0 lead. The steal gives the 31-year-old 13 on the season, and it’s the eighth homer of the season.       Arozarena went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run and two stolen bases Wednesday against the Twins.

      Advice: Arozarena extended his hitting streak to a modest five games with the performance. He's been very productive in that span, swatting two homers while also swiping two bags, scoring five runs and driving in five.     • Randy Arozarena swipes two bases as Rays top Twins
      Randy Arozarena singled, doubled, walked, was hit by a pitch, scored a run and stole a pair of bases on Wednesday night, leading the Rays to a 3-2 victory over the Twins in 10 innings.

      Advice: After striking out in his first at-bat on the night, Arozarena reached base in each of his final four plate appearances. He led off the fourth inning with a double, but the Rays couldn’t cash him in. He then singled and swiped second base with two outs in the sixth inning, but was left stranded there. He then led off the eighth inning with a walk but was stranded at third base. Arozarena was plunked leading off the 10th inning, he swiped second base and scored the go-ahead run on a throwing error by Royce Lewis. The 27-year-old sports a lopsided .216/.296/.446 slash line on the season with 11 homers, 35 RBI and 40 runs in 69 contests, but his .742 OPS still provides a significant improvement on the Blue Jays' other option in center field, Kevin Kiermaier (.545 OPS).
