Pallante allows six earned runs in loss to Astros
Andre Pallante allowed six earned runs over three innings while striking out one in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.
Advice: Things didn’t go well for Pallante, who needed 75 pitches to get through his three innings of work. After allowing two runs in the first inning, Pallante would allow four runs in the third, with the most notable coming on a three-run homer by Yainer Diaz. It was the worst outing of the season for Pallante, who has now started back-to-back games for the Cards after serving as a reliever for the first two months of the season. If Pallante gets the nod for his next start, it would likely come on Sunday against the Rockies.
