      Tyler Glasnow allowed three runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

      Advice: Glasnow had worked around a pair of hits and an error through four scoreless innings before the Diamondbacks got to him in the fifth. A walk and a single put two runners on for Corbin Carroll, who brought both runners in to score on a triple. A wild pitch allowed Carroll to cross home for the third run. Glasnow would complete the frame and was done after five on 95 pitches. He struck out six.       Jalen Beeks allowed one run in the ninth inning to blow the save chance against the Athletics.

      Advice: Beeks was summoned to close out the game with a one-run lead in the ninth inning. A single and a walk put a runner in scoring position with two outs before Zack Gelof knocked a base hit to drive in the game-tying run. Beeks was able to keep the game tied to send it to extras. Spence loaded the bases once again in the third, but was able to keep the Rockies off the board. He was done after three innings at 70 pitches, scattering five hits and three walks with four strikeouts.       Peralta (3-3) took the loss Wednesday against Miami, allowing one run on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Peralta was locked into a pitcher's duel with Jesus Luzardo, with a leadoff home run by Jazz Chisholm in the first inning being enough to push Peralta into the loss column. Still, fantasy managers saw the dominant version of Peralta that garnered early Cy Young consideration before his ERA ballooned from 1.90 on April 19 to 4.17 before Wednesday's outing. Through the ups and downs, Peralta's strikeout production has maintained, with 71 K's across 56.2 innings on the year.       Walker (4-2) pitched a perfect inning and struck out one, earning the extra-inning win over the Pirates on Wednesday.

      Advice: Walker kept the game tied in the ninth inning, and the Giants' offense exploded in the 10th to make him the pitcher of record. The right-hander has stumbled a little recently, allowing two runs over his last five innings, but he also has a 7:0 K:BB and three holds in that span. Walker is getting the job done with a 2.42 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 36:4 K:BB over 26 innings this season. He's added seven holds and one blown save while not seeing a lot of late-inning work, but his elite strikeout numbers make him an interesting option in all NL-only formats and some deeper mixed leagues as well.       Advice: Irvin was called upon for a long-relief outing after John Means (elbow) exited following a rain delay. The severity of Means' injury is unknown at this time, but if it requires a stint on the injured list, Irvin has a clear path back to the rotation after making his last two appearances out of the bullpen. Irvin has pitched well this season with a 3.15 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 30:8 K:B over 45.2 innings through nine appearances (seven starts). Means' spot in the rotation is slated for a home start versus the Red Sox next week, and Irvin's appearance Wednesday would put him on schedule to step into that spot if necessary.       Advice: Luzardo completed eight innings for the first time in his career, blanking Milwaukee in dominant fashion. All three hits allowed were singles and he didn't issue a walk for a second straight start. The southpaw retired 17 consecutive batters during the start, spanning the second to the eighth inning. He's been excellent in three starts since coming off the IL, owning a 0.92 ERA and a 19:1 K:BB over 19.2 innings. He'll look to keep the ball rolling Tuesday against the Padres.
