      The Twins activated Lewis (quad) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

      Advice: Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games.       Advice: Duran was in the starting lineup at first base for a third straight game -- all against lefties -- as it appears primary starter Nathaniel Lowe is losing work against southpaws.       Steer went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 13-3 win over Colorado.

      Advice: After a rough May in which he posted a .176 average and .629 OPS, Steer has gotten off to a strong start to June. He's delivered multiple hits in all three games on the month, going 8-for-14.       Luis Guillorme came off the bench to deliver a go-ahead sac fly in the bottom of the eighth as the Angels edged the Padres 2-1 on Monday.

      Advice: For some reason, the Angels bypassed the squeeze opportunity with Guillorme up, a man on third and one out in the eighth.       Machado went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Angels.

      Advice: Machado's solo shot in the first inning was the lone run for the Padres in Monday's loss. He was intentionally walked twice and also stole his fourth base of the year. The long ball snapped a brutal 26-game drought since his last homer May 3; during that cold streak, he posted a .591 OPS.
