    • Picks up steal in win
Doyle went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Doyle opened May cold, going 2-for-23 over a six-game span, but he's bounced back by going 6-for-13 with two steals, four extra-base hits and three RBI over his last four contests. The outfielder is up to a .288/.336/.468 slash line with six steals, four home runs, 11 RBI and 24 runs scored through 152 plate appearances on the year. This was his first game with multiple walks all season. He has a 27.6 percent strikeout rate which has limited Doyle's effectiveness. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 pm
    • Two more RBI
Steer went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Friday's 4-2 win over San Francisco.

Advice: Steer's first-inning, two-out double plated the Reds' first run, then his third-inning single tied the game. He has four RBI in the last two games and leads the Reds with 27 runs driven in. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:27 am

    • Two RBI in loss
Steer went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Arizona.

Advice: Steer delivered two runs on a two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game before the Diamondbacks went ahead an inning later. He continues to produce with runners in scoring position, posting a .359 batting average and 1.022 OPS in such situations. Rotowire.com Friday, 5:44 am

    • Delivers winning run
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll delivered the go-ahead run on a two-out single in the top of the eighth inning, a half inning after the Reds plated three runs to tie the game. The outfielder returned to the top of the order this week after a season-opening slump dropped him to the lower third in late April. He's worked through the slow start, which he attributed to a flat swing, per Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports. Carroll has a pop-up rate of 15.2 percent on the season, more than double than what it was in 2023 (7.3 percent). Rotowire.com Friday, 4:43 am
    • Slugs fourth homer
Doyle went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional run and a double in Thursday's 9-1 win against the Giants.

Advice: Doyle keyed a seven-run fourth inning for Colorado with a 430-foot, three-run blast to center field. The long ball ended a 21-game homerless stretch for the outfielder, and he had notched just one RBI over that span. Doyle has been one of the most productive hitters for Colorado this season, though, slashing .276/.317/.455 with four home runs and a team-leading 22 runs and four stolen bases. • Brenton Doyle swats three-run homer in rout
Brenton Doyle hit a three-run homer in a blowout win over the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: Doyle blasted a homer off Keaton Winn with a pair of runners on to extend the Colorado lead to 6-1. The 25-year-old has shown vastly improved pop in the early portion of 2024, as he’s up to four homers and a .455 slugging percentage. It’s probably not sustainable — and the numbers have already dropped after a red-hot April — but it’s nice to see offensive progress from a player who was not an effective hitter whatsoever in 2024, even while playing in some of the friendliest confines for half of his games. • Corbin Carroll knocks in go-ahead run against Reds
Corbin Carroll knocked in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning Thursday to help the D-Backs to a 5-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: In what has been a very disappointing season for Carroll, the 23-year-old came up big Thursday with an RBI single to score Tucker Barnhart that broke a 4-4 tie and ultimately gave Arizona the victory. The 23-year-old was one of the best fantasy players regardless of age, and while his .206/.300/.270 slash is anything but ideal, there’s obvious reasons to believe he’ll bounce back considerably in the summer months. • Stays hot in twin bill
Rooker went 5-for-9 with a walk, two doubles, a home run, four runs scored and three RBI across both games of Wednesday's doubleheader split with the Rangers.

Advice: The 29-year-old did most of his damage in the matinee, slugging a three-run homer in the seventh inning off Cole Winn. Rooker has hit safely in six of the last seven games, batting .462 (12-for-26) with three doubles, four long balls, 10 runs, 11 RBI and a strong 5:5 BB:K. After a breakout 2023, Rooker might be finding another level this season -- through 27 contests, he's slashing .277/.370/.628 with nine homers and 24 RBI. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:39 am

    • Brent Rooker swats three-run homer in A’s win
Brent Rooker went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Rangers.

Advice: Rooker finished off a three-hit effort with a towering 427-foot blast -- his ninth round-tripper of the season -- to straightaway center field in the seventh inning to cap off Oakland’s nine-run offensive explosion in the front-end of Wednesday’s twin bill. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:05 pm
