    • Logs third steal
Smith went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch one RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Smith got the Rangers on the board with an RBI single in the third inning. He also stole second in the eighth after he was plunked. Smith has gone 13-for-43 (.302) with two steals over his last 12 contests. During that stretch, Smith has been promoted to the No. 3 spot in the order. He's slashing a sharp .280/.379/.409 with two home runs, three steals, 21 RBI and 24 runs scored over 190 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

    • Tyler Glasnow strikes out eight in no-decision
Tyler Glasnow struck out eight and allowed two runs over seven innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Mets.

Advice: Glasnow did his job in the front-end of Tuesday’s twin bill at Citi Field, limiting New York’s offense to just a third-inning homer by Francisco Lindor over seven strong frames of work. The hard-throwing 30-year-old righty notched at least eight punchouts for the seventh time in 12 starts this season, while also matching a season-high with four walks. He generated 15 swinging strikes and finished with a lackluster 27 percent CSW. It wasn’t his most dominant outing of his Dodgers debut, but he remains one of the few elite starters left healthy in the entire fantasy landscape. He’ll carry a stellar 3.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 95/21 K/BB ratio across 74 innings (12 starts) into a road tilt next Tuesday against his former team in Pittsburgh. Rotoworld Today, 3:57 pm
    • Lourdes Gurriel sitting Tuesday against Rangers
Lourdes Gurriel is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Advice: Gurriel went just 1-for-10 in the three-game series against the Marlins, and he’s hitting .203 with a .582 OPS thus far in the month of May. He’ll take a seat with Pavin Smith getting the start in right field while hitting fifth. Rotoworld Today, 11:14 am
    • Taking seat Tuesday
Gurriel is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rangers.

Advice: It's a routine day off for Gurriel, who is batting just .203/.241/.291 with one home run so far in May. The Diamondbacks will utilize Jake McCarthy and Pavin Smith as their corner outfielders Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:10 am
    • Ends power drought Monday
Springer went 2-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: The veteran outfielder opened the scoring in the second inning when he lifted a first-pitch fastball from Nick Nastrini over the fence in left field. Springer snapped a 22-game homer drought with the blast, a stretch in which he slashed a woeful .136/.191/.173. He hasn't failed to hit 20 home runs in a full season since 2015, but the 34-year-old has his work cut out for him this summer to reach that mark again -- Springer has only four long balls through Toronto's first 53 games. • Swipes another pair of bags Monday
Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases in Monday's 3-2 victory over Houston.

Advice: Rodriguez scored Seattle's second run in the first inning and padded his stat line with a pair of steals in the seventh. The star outfielder has four thefts over his past two contests following a 16-game stretch without any steals from May 9 to May 25. Though he's been pretty quiet with a .265/.309/.342 slash line on the season, Rodriguez has built some momentum in going 6-for-13 with two homers, five RBI, four runs and four stolen bases over his past three games. • Jeremy Peña fans four times in loss
Jeremy Peña struck out all four times he was up Monday in the loss to the Mariners.

Advice: That’s as many strikeouts as he totaled in his previous eight games. Peña is having a great season, but this was not his night. We’d still say it’s past time for the Astros to start batting him ahead of Alex Bregman in the order. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:31 pm
    • Lands on IL with hamstring strain
The Mariners placed Polanco on the 10-day injured list Monday due to a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Polanco was replaced by Josh Rojas in the sixth inning of Sunday's 9-5 win over the Nationals, with the former going 1-for-2 with an RBI before exiting. Polanco missed seven games earlier in May due to a right hamstring issue, and the 30-year-old will spend time on the injured list this time around. General manager Justin Hollander said Monday that while Polanco has not yet undergone an MRI, he is not expected to be sidelined long, per Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM. The Mariners selected Ryan Bliss from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move, and he will start at second base Monday and bat eighth against Astros southpaw Framber Valdez. • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) goes on IL for Mariners
Mariners placed INF Jorge Polanco on the 10-day injured list with a strained right hamstring.

Advice: Polanco aggravated the hamstring Sunday in his fifth appearance back after an eight-day absence due to the same injury. He’s hitting just .195/.293/.302 this season, so the break might be best for everyone. The Mariners will use Dylan Moore and Ryan Bliss at second base for now. The injury should also open up some playing time for Mitch Haniger, who has been sitting against righties with Moore seeing starts in the outfield. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:12 pm
