    • Homers again Monday
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 win against the Marlins.

Advice: Hernandez hit one of four Dodgers homers in the contest, smashing a 418-foot solo shot in the third inning. It was his second straight game with a long ball, and he's gone deep three times in his past four games. Hernandez is up to nine home runs and 26 RBI on the season while slashing .259/.325/.490 and adding 24 runs and three stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:08 pm
    • Teoscar Hernández swats ninth homer of season
Teoscar Hernández hit a solo homer while going 2-for-4 in a win over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: He also singled. It’s the ninth homer of the season for Hernández, and one of four the Dodgers hit off Marlins starter Roddery Muñoz in Monday’s victory. The outfielder has also driven in 26 runs over 37 games with a decent — if unspectacular — slash of .259/.325/.490. So far, so good in Hernández’s first season as a member of the Dodgers. • Josh Lowe hitting third in return to lineup
Josh Lowe is starting in right field and batting third for the Rays against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: The Rays are wasting no time throwing Lowe right back into the heart of the order and against right-handed Mike Clevinger, that shouldn’t be a huge surprise. However, the Rays are also set to face just one left-handed pitcher in their next 10 games, so it should be a bit of a softer landing spot for Lowe, who has been on the bench at times against lefties in the past. • Activated for season debut
The Rays activated Lowe (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Lowe originally went on the IL prior to Opening Day with an oblique strain and more recently dealt with a hamstring issue during his minor-league rehab assignment. He's healthy now after resuming his rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham this past Thursday and is finally ready for his 2024 Rays debut following a nearly six-week absence. The 26-year-old had a breakout 2023 campaign with Tampa Bay, hitting 20 home runs and stealing 32 bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:14 am

    • Rays activate Josh Lowe (hamstring) from IL
Rays activated OF Josh Lowe from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Lowe began the season on the IL with an oblique injury and his return briefly delayed due to a hamstring injury, but he’s finally ready to join the Rays’ lineup. He went 4-for-17 (.235) with two homers after resuming his rehab assignment and will now attempt to duplicate (if not surpass) his breakout 2023 campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:10 am

    • Good step in rehab assignment
Lowe (hamstring) went 3-for-8 with two home runs in consecutive rehab appearances for Triple-A Durham on Saturday and Sunday.

Advice: Since resuming his rehab appearance with Durham on May, Lowe had gone 3-for-14 with seven strikeouts prior to Saturday's game, when he slugged both of his home runs. His ability to hit for power was a positive sign, though he did strike out four times between Saturday and Sunday. Nevertheless, Rays manager Kevin Cash said that Lowe's results were a step in the right direction, per MLB.com. Lowe could be a candidate to return from the 10-day injured list during the Rays' upcoming series with the White Sox that begins Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 am

    • Leaves yard in Sunday's win
Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Hernandez homered for the second time in three games and has tallied at least a hit in 10-of-12 games since April 23. The 31-year-old is slashing .252/.320/.468 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 23 runs and a 13:49 BB:K in 153 plate appearances. Hernandez is showing increased signs of power from a year ago but strikeouts still remain an issue. His 49 strikeouts are currently the fourth-most in baseball, as he's striking out 32 percent of the time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:19 am
    • Cracks homer in win
Rafaela went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Rafaela's fifth-inning, two-run shot gave Boston a lead it never relinquished. It was the Red Sox's first home run in a span of 220 at-bats dating back to April 27 when Rafaela connected as part of a four-hit game against the Cubs. He was hitting just .156 leading up to that four-hit game, which appears to have triggered his bat. Rafaela has hit safely in seven of the last eight contests, going 10-for-29 (.345) with six extra-base hits, seven RBI and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:41 am

    • Ceddanne Rafaela homers as BoSox snap Twins streak
Ceddanne Rafaela homered and walked Sunday as the Red Sox snapped the Twins’ 12-game winning streak by prevailing 9-2.

Advice: Rafaela’s homer was 105.2 mph off the bat and was projected at 398 feet. The 23-year-old clearly possesses sufficient pop, but the approach needs work; he’s swinging at everything and just not making hard contact consistently. The result to date has been a .202/.228/.370 line with three homers and four steals in seven tries. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:25 pm
