    • Fighting slump
Seager went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 7-1 loss to Kansas City.

Advice: Seager delivered the Rangers' lone run with a single in the third inning. He's been mired in a slump and entered Friday's game batting .073 (3-for-41) with two RBI over the previous 11 games. Rangers general manager took the long view when speaking with Kenndi Landry of MLB.com, indicating the club expected Seager to need some time to get going after undergoing hernia surgery in January. Young also feels there has been some bad luck, which speaks to the shortstop's .269 BABIP. Rotowire.com Today, 6:57 am
    • Hitless in return
Stephenson went 0-for-3 in Friday's 3-0 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Stephenson missed the last four games while dealing with a hand injury resulting from a hit-by-pitch last Saturday. He had been available off the bench if needed. Rotowire.com Today, 6:12 am
    • Tallies four hits
Pages went 4-for-5 with one RBI in Friday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: Pages set a new career best Friday night with four hits, all singles. The Dodgers rookie drove in the game-winning run, singling home Will Smith for the walk-off victory in the 11th inning. Pages has enjoyed a productive start to his big league career, slashing .333/.354/.567 with three home runs, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored over 65 plate appearances. • End of chapter: Pages walks-off Atlanta in 11th
Andy Pages went 4-for-5 with the game-winning single in the 11th inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over Atlanta on Friday.

Advice: Pages put an end to that chapter, with the chapter being an 11-inning affair in this case. The rookie outfielder has his first ever four-hit game, and one of those was a walk-off single in the 11th off Jesse Chavez. Pages has looked the part and then some thus far, and is obviously worthy of roster consideration in redraft leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:14 pm

    • Hunter Greene goes 5 2/3 scoreless for Reds
Hunter Greene blanked the Orioles for 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

Advice: Greene, who also pitched shutout ball last time out, lowered his ERA to 3.12. Still, the Reds are somehow 1-6 when he pitches this season, despite being 15-10 the rest of the time. Greene’s luck should even out at some point, and he seems like an every-week play in mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm
    • Battling knee issue
Manager Scott Servais said Friday that Kirby has been dealing with a right knee issue, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Servais added that Kirby's knee isn't considered a major problem, but it was the reason why he was pulled from his start Friday after throwing just 88 pitches through six innings. The Mariners will keep an eye on the right-hander's condition, but at the moment it appears Kirby should still be able to make his next start -- tentatively scheduled for Thursday against Minnesota. • Settles for no-decision
Kirby allowed a run on four hits over six innings during a no-decision Friday. He struck out three during the loss to Houston.

Advice: Kirby was in line for the win before Seattle's bullpen coughed up the lead. The lone run against him came via Jeremy Pena's RBI groundout in the sixth inning. Kirby was efficient Friday, throwing 60 of 88 pitches for strikes. He's allowed just one run while producing a stellar 22:2 K:BB over his last 18 frames. Of his seven starts this year, Kirby allowed two or fewer runs in five of them. However, he coughed up 13 combined runs in the other two. Kirby is currently projected to start in Minnesota next week. • Sharp again in no-decision
Greene did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing five hits and four walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Greene had to contend with some traffic Friday, though he'd ultimately make it through 5.2 innings unscathed. The right-hander fell an out shy of a quality start, though it's his second consecutive scoreless outing -- he blanked the Rangers over seven innings in his last start. Overall, Greene's 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 47:16 K:BB through 40.1 innings. He's tentatively lined up for a home matchup with the Diamondbacks in his next start. • George Kirby holds Astros to one run in no-decision
George Kirby gave up just a run over six innings against the Astros on Friday, but he didn’t factor into the decision.

Advice: Kirby threw just 88 pitches before leaving Friday, and Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters after the game that he had some issues with his right knee. Obviously, that’s something to keep an eye on. It was yet again a tremendous outing when Kirby was on the mound, however, and he’s allowed just the one earned run over his last three starts. Assuming Kirby’s knee doesn’t require missing an outing, he’ll go again Wednesday against the Twins in Minnesota. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:05 pm
