    • Notches fourth homer
Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a stolen base during Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Cabrera tagged Corbin Burnes for a two-run shot in the fifth inning, plating Jose Trevino for the Yankees' only runs. The long ball was Cabrera's first since April 13. His two hits were his first of the series, entering Wednesday's contest 0-for-7 in the first two games of the four-game bill. Through 110 plate appearances, Cabrera is slashing .262/.300/.417 with 18 RBI and two stolen bases. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:58 pm

    • Oswaldo Cabrera powers Yankees past Orioles
Oswaldo Cabrera swatted a two-run homer off of Corbin Burnes on Wednesday night, powering the Yankees to a 2-0 victory over the Orioles in Baltimore.

Advice: Cabrera accounted for the only scoring for either team in the ballgame, poking a 352-foot (103.3 mph EV) two-out, two-run homer just over the wall in right field and just inside the foul pole to give the Yankees a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning. He also singled in the ballgame and swiped a base, finishing the night 2-for-3. On the season, the versatile 25-year-old is now hitting .262/.300/.417 with four homers, 18 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:09 pm

    • Pops first homer Tuesday
Gimenez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 10-9 extra-inning loss to the Astros.

Advice: Gimenez started the Guardians' comeback with a two-run blast in the sixth inning. The second baseman has logged three straight multi-hit efforts following a recent 0-for-11 skid. For the season, he's slashing .280/.347/.374 with one homer, 17 RBI, 17 runs scored, four stolen bases, five doubles and a triple over 122 plate appearances. He continues to see a starting role and frequently bats second in the lineup against right-handers. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:48 pm

    • Andres Giménez hits first homer of 2024 vs. Astros
Andrés Giménez went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Giménez hit his first home run of the season on Tuesday when he took Cade Smith deep to right for a two-run bomb. Giménez closes out the first month of the season with a line of .280/.347/.374 to go with one homer, 17 RBI, and 17 runs scored. While he doesn’t provide much power, Giménez is providing plenty as far as scoring and driving in runs are concerned. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:35 pm

    • Gets aboard three times in loss
Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Gimenez went 2-for-18 with three RBI and a steal over five games from April 19-25, a cold spell that resulted in him getting a day off Friday. He's bounced back with a pair of multi-hit efforts over the weekend. The second baseman is up to four steals on five attempts this season. He's slashing .275/.345/.343 with 15 RBI, 15 runs scored, five doubles and a triple through 117 plate appearances, but he's yet to hit a home run in 2024. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:04 pm

    • Giménez has two hits, steal vs ATL
Andrés Giménez went 2-for-4 with a steal and an RBI against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Both of Giménez’s hits with singles hit 91 mph or better off the bat and upped his slash line to .275/.345/.343 on the year. That slugging percentage obviously leaves a lot to be desired, but Giménez is getting on base often at the top of the Guardians’ lineup and now has four steals on the year. He also has some of the lowest exit velocities among every day players, so if you can stomach his lack of power, he’s a good MIF target in all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:01 pm

    • Andrés Giménez not in Guardians lineup on Friday
Andrés Giménez is not in the Guardians’ starting lineup for Friday night’s soiree against the Braves.

Advice: The switch-hitting 25-year-old infielder went hitless (0-for-10) during their series against the Red Sox to start the week, so perhaps Guardians’ skipper Stephen Vogt just wants to give him a day to clear his head. Gabriel Arias will start in his place at second base and will bat seventh against Chris Sale and the Braves on Friday evening in Atlanta. Rotoworld Friday, 1:55 pm

    • Sitting versus lefty
Gimenez is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Atlanta.

Advice: Atlanta is starting southpaw Chris Sale, so it's not a bad day for the left-handed hitting Gimenez to get a breather. Gabriel Arias will handle second base Friday. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:52 pm

    • Smashes long ball in loss
Kim went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run against Colorado in a loss Thursday.

Advice: Kim's third-inning blast gave San Diego a short-lived three-run lead. The long ball was his fourth of the season and just his second extra-base hit over his past eight contests. Kim has added 17 RBI, 17 runs, seven steals and a .238/.339/.436 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:12 pm
