    • Anthony Rizzo delivers walk-off winner on Friday
Anthony Rizzo smacked an RBI single off of Jason Foley in the ninth inning on Friday night, propelling the Yankees to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Tigers.

Advice: The Yankees had come up empty through eight innings against Reese Olson and a host of Tigers’ relievers. They finally got the bats going in the ninth though, as Aaron Judge singled, Alex Verdugo dropped down a bunt single and Giancarlo Stanton smacked an RBI double to start the inning. Rizzo then followed by poking a ball through the drawn in infield to walk it off. The 34-year-old slugger finished the night 1-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .256/.324/.403 with five homers and 17 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

    • Collects five hits in twin bill
Goldschmidt went 5-for-9 with a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's doubleheader split versus the Tigers.

Advice: Goldschmidt had not collected five hits over any two-game span this season prior to Tuesday. Even with the strong performance, the first baseman is slashing a mediocre .236/.323/.318 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs scored, three doubles and a stolen base over 29 contests. Goldschmidt has yet to lose playing time amid his slow start, but that could change once the Cardinals get players like Dylan Carlson (shoulder), Tommy Edman (wrist) and Matt Carpenter (oblique) back from the injured list. On the positive side, Goldschmidt has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, so he may be turning things around enough to maintain his place in the lineup. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:39 pm

    • Remains red-hot Sunday
Rizzo went 4-for-4 with a two-run home run, two doubles, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Rizzo was once again spectacular Sunday, ripping a double in his first at-bat, before later adding another double, a single and a two-run homer later in the contest. The long ball was his fifth of the season, and he has now gone deep in back-to-back games and four times in his last six contests. Rizzo is batting .277 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 15 runs scored over 112 at-bats in 29 games in 2024. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:15 pm

    • Anthony Rizzo hits 300th homer in Yankees’ rout
Anthony Rizzo went 4-for-4 and hit his 300th career homer Sunday as the Yankees crushed the Brewers 15-5.

Advice: Rizzo also walked. His homer, which was hit off Janson Junk, would have been out of Just 10 ballparks. It came in his 1,664th game since debuting with the Padres in 2011. He’s hit 57 in 307 games since arriving in New York. The formerly slumping Rizzo has six hits in two days and four homers in his last six games. He’s all of the way up to .277/.341/.446 on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:14 pm

    • Continues power surge Saturday
Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and three total runs scored in Saturday's 15-3 rout against Milwaukee.

Advice: Rizzo hit one of four long balls for the Yankees in the contest, contributing a two-run shot to right field in the sixth inning. After beginning the season with just one home run over his first 23 games, Rizzo's power stroke has resurfaced of late, as he's belted three homers over his past five contests. The veteran first baseman is hitting .350 with five RBI and five runs over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:35 am

    • Plates two, steals base
Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with two RBI while netting his first stolen base of the season in Saturday's 7-4 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Goldschmidt one-hopped a two-run double off the wall as part of a four-run first inning for the Cardinals. He added an infield single, a stolen base and another run scored. The former MVP also struck out three times Saturday and has fanned at an elevated 30.1 percent so far this season. The production on the whole has ticked up over the past week, however, with Goldschmidt going 9-for-27 (.333) with one home run and four RBI in that span. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:04 pm

    • Paul Goldschmidt drives in two in win over Mets
Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, two RBI, and a stolen base to lead the Cardinals to a 7-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Goldschmidt seems to be warming up at the plate. He collected two hits on Saturday for his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. Goldschmidt drove in two runs with a double in the first inning and scored on a base hit by Masyn Winn. He singled in the fifth and swiped second for his first stolen base of the season before scoring on a balk. The 36-year-old first baseman is slashing .214/.306/.296 with two homers and 11 RBI across 113 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:37 pm

    • Goes yard again Wednesday
Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The 34-year-old first baseman appears to be heating up. Rizzo has gone yard in back-to-back games after managing only one homer in his first 23 contests this season. His .242/.314/.358 slash line and 11 RBI remain below expectations, but after a tough, concussion-marred 2023 campaign, Rizzo's beginning to look more like the player who slugged 32 homers in 2022.
