      Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers.       Advice: Marte went down on strikes in each of his first two at-bats before driving in the first run of the game with a one-out triple in the bottom of the sixth. He would come home to score as well on a Joc Pederson single in the following at-bat, though the effort would fall short as Detroit stormed back in the seventh to take the lead. The triple was Marte's second of the season and extended his hitting streak to 17 games.       Advice: The 30-year-old second baseman extended his hitting streak to 17 games and broke a scoreless tie with his run-scoring triple off of the Tigers’ right-hander in the sixth inning. He then scored on an RBI single off the bat of Joc Pederson.
