    • Max Muncy delivers grand slam in Dodgers’ win
Max Muncy went 2-for-4 and hit a grand slam Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: It was his sixth career slam and fourth homer in three games. A career .228 hitter, Munch is at .263 right now, even though his strikeout rate is higher than usual and his exit velocity numbers are pretty typical. He’ll surely continue to put up excellent power numbers, but one should probably expect an average around .220 the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Stott has two hits, steal in win
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott picked up two singles to up his triple slash to .245/.339/.377 on the year and also swiped his eighth stolen base. Stott has moved around between second base and shortstop since Trea Turner went down with a hamstring injury, and it’s hard to imagine Stott getting many days off over the next six weeks while Turner is out. The power hasn’t been there this year, but the steals are valuable and Stott should get the opportunity to pick up important counting stats while hitting in a good lineup. • Kyle Finnegan notches 12th save of the season
Kyle Finnegan recorded his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Orioles.

Advice: Finnegan pitched a perfect ninth inning to close out the Orioles in the 3-0 win. The Nationals closer is now 12-of-13 in save opportunities this season and is a perfect 3-for-3 in save opportunities this month. He and the Nationals will look to record a two-game sweep of the Orioles in the short series on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:14 pm
    • Taking batting practice
Thomas (knee) will take full batting practice on the field Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: It will be his first time doing so since he went down with a left MCL sprain in his knee two weeks ago. Thomas will need to do some running and other drills before being cleared for a rehab assignment, but he seems to be making nice progress. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:35 pm

Lane Thomas (knee) progressed to taking batting practice on Tuesday.

Advice: Thomas has been on the shelf since late April due to a sprained MCL in his left knee. The 28-year-old outfielder is expected to be ready to return at some point later this month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:29 pm

    • Notches first steal
Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base Monday in a 6-3 victory versus the Cubs.

Advice: Cronenworth's first theft of the campaign came as part of a double steal with Fernando Tatis in the sixth inning, and both players subsequently came home on a Jurickson Profar single. Cronenworth doesn't typically offer much in terms of speed, though he did swipe a career-high six bags last season. The first baseman is working on a 10-game hitting streak during which he has slashed .357/.378/.690 with three homers, 10 RBI and seven runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:57 am

    • Corey Seager’s three-run homer leads Rangers
Corey Seager hit a three-run homer in the eighth to lead the Rangers past the A’s 4-2 on Monday.

Advice: The Rangers were still scoreless until Seager took Lucas Erceg deep in the eighth. They then added an insurance run in the ninth. The homer was Seager’s third in 33 games this season. He’s obviously still way off his 2023 numbers, but not in such a way that he’s a particularly weaker bet for the rest of the season. Rotoworld Monday, 11:31 pm

    • Goes deep Monday
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Marlins in Monday's 6-3 win.

Advice: Though his long ball didn't travel nearly as far, Freeman followed Shohei Ohtani in the first inning Monday as the pair slugged back-to-back homers. Freeman has yet to fully flex his power this season -- he has just three homers through 167 plate appearances -- but he's been otherwise productive, as usual, with a .292/.407/.445 slash line, 21 RBI, 18 runs and a stolen base. The veteran first baseman is also tied for seventh in the league with 10 doubles and tied for fifth with 24 walks. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:58 pm

    • Turns tide with three-run homer
Seager went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Monday in a 4-2 victory against Oakland.

Advice: Texas was down 2-0 heading into the eighth frame before Seager turned the team's fortunes around with a two-out, three-run blast to center field. It was a much-needed big moment for the star shortstop, as he came into the contest batting just .190 in May and .228 overall on the season. After slugging 33 homers and driving in 96 runs last year, Seager has just three homers and 13 RBI through 33 games in 2024. Monday marked the first time he has driven in multiple runs in a contest since Texas' second game of the season. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:10 pm
