    • Bryson Stott goes hitless against Giants
Bryson Stott, who didn’t start Monday, went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott has run extremely hot and cold this season, posting a .559 OPS over his first 25 games and a 1.242 OPS over his subsequent 18 games. Now he’s back in another drought, having gone 2-for-28 in his last eight games. The good news is that he’s struck out just three times during that span. He still projects as a useful MI in mixed leagues going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm

    • Ends power drought
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Arenado went 11 games without a homer prior to Tuesday. In that span, he hit a paltry .222 (10-for-45). The third baseman took Andrew Abbott deep in the fourth inning to give the Cardinals all the offense they needed in the win. Arenado is still having a rough year overall with four homers, 25 RBI, 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .257/.311/.366 slash line over 52 contests. While the Cardinals' offense has struggled at times, Arenado has not been able to lead by example as much as he has in previous years. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 pm

    • Gausman allows one earned run in win over ChiSox
Kevin Gausman allowed one earned and four hits over six innings while earning the win on Tuesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Gausman didn’t face much resistance in this one, as the Blue Jays grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the second, which more or less put Gausman in cruise control against one of the league’s worst offenses. Gausman earned a win in three of his five stars this month, and will have a chance to start June off on a strong note when he makes his next scheduled start on Monday against the Orioles. • Jake Cronenworth goes 0-for-4 versus Marlins
Jake Cronenworth went 0-for-4 on Tuesday, leaving him 12-for-56 in his last 15 games.

Advice: Given his obvious decline in 2022 and ’23, Cronenworth was a very nice surprise to begin this year, batting .285/.349/.503 in his first 39 games. He’s slumped the last two weeks, but his exit velocity numbers are still encouraging enough to suggest that he’ll snap out of this and remain rather productive. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:13 pm

    • Hits go-ahead homer
Seager went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Seager's hitting streak is up to 11 games, during which he's gone 14-for-40 (.350). He's also homered seven times over his last seven contests, with Tuesday's blast being enough to secure the win for the Rangers. The shortstop is up to 12 long balls, 27 RBI, 26 runs scored and a .259/.351/.461 slash line through 50 games, though he's been particularly impressive with his recent power surge after a slow start to the campaign. • Reaches four times
Buxton went 2-for-2 with a run scored, a stolen base and two walks during Tuesday's 4-2 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Buxton got on base in all four plate appearances, logging an infield single in the third frame and generating a triple in the fifth. It wasn't until the bottom of the eighth that Buxton came around to score, reaching via a base on balls and stealing second base before being plated by Edouard Julien on a base hit. Since returning from the IL on May 18, Buxton is batting .267 with two homers and a 27.3 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:45 pm

    • Seager’s homer lifts Rangers over Diamondbacks
Corey Seager went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Seager sent his 12th homer of the season 407 feet into the right field stands to give the Rangers a 4-2 lead. It was a three-run homer for Seager, who upped his RBI total to 27 on the season, with 11 of those RBI coming in his last seven games. Seager has now hit safely in 11 straight games, and is slashing an impressive .287/.388/.644 on the month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:30 pm

    • Max Muncy (oblique) out until mid-to-late June
Max Muncy (oblique) remains shut down from baseball activities.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Tuesday that Muncy will remain sidelined for a couple more weeks after experiencing discomfort last week in his right oblique. There isn’t a definitive timetable for him to return at the moment, but it’s safe to assume he won’t be back until at least mid-to-late June. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:03 pm

    • Freddie Freeman powers Dodgers to win over Mets
Freddie Freeman went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI, powering the Dodgers to a 5-2 extra-inning win over the Mets in the front-end of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Freeman followed Mookie Betts’ go-ahead 10th-inning single with a majestic 383-foot missile to right field off Mets reliever Jorge López to give Los Angeles a commanding three-run lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. The 34-year-old also delivered a key run-scoring single in the eighth inning that jump-started the Dodgers’ late-inning rally. He hasn’t been an otherworldly force of nature at the dish, but still boasts an .855 OPS with six homers and one steal across 56 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:02 pm
