    • Snaps power drought Tuesday
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 23-year-old center fielder snapped a 20-game homer drought by taking Jameson Taillon deep in the fourth inning, kicking off a six-run frame that blew the game wide open. Harris is just one of a number of Atlanta hitters who have had sluggish starts to the season -- Tuesday's long ball was his first extra-base hit of any kind since April 26 -- but he may be heating up, as he has five hits and two walks in the last four games, lifting his slash line on the year to .260/.305/.390. • Produces lone run
Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Jeffers gave Minnesota the lead with a solo homer as the team's first batter of the game. However, they wouldn't score another run following Jeffers' round-tripper and Jeffers himself struck out in his final three plate appearances. The catcher has hit double-digit homers in 2024 and is on pace to smash his career high of 14 long balls. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:19 pm

    • Jeffers’ homer gives Twins lone run vs. Yankees
Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Carlos Rodón’s second pitch of the evening was sent 429 feet into the left field stands by Jeffers, who got the scoring started with a leadoff homer. It was Jeffers’ 10th home run of the season, as he’s well on pace to top his previous career high of 14 before the all-star break. Jeffers is now slashing .278/.308/.806 in the month of May with five homers and 13 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:34 pm

    • Michael Harris II homers in win over Cubs
Michael Harris II went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris hit a solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning that traveled 426 feet and left the bat at 106.7 mph. It was his fourth home run and 15th RBI of the season. The 23-year-old is one of quite a few Braves hitters who aren’t living up to their typical production early in the season. Still, there is nothing under the hood that suggests Harris is struggling, and he should be in for a solid summer ahead. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:49 pm
    • Beginning mound work Wednesday
Phillips (hamstring) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Phillips has been on the injured list with a strained right hamstring since May 5, and he resumed playing catch Friday. He will presumably throw multiple bullpen sessions before progressing to facing live hitters, though he shouldn't take long to build back up as a reliever. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:23 pm

    • Simulating innings Wednesday
Miller (shoulder) will throw two simulated innings at the Dodgers' complex in Arizona on Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Assuming all goes well Wednesday, Miller will move onto either a three-inning sim game or begin a rehab assignment with one of the Dodgers' minor-league affiliates. Either way, the 25-year-old right-hander will most likely require multiple appearances in the minors as he continues building up to a starter's workload. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:15 pm

    • Bobby Miller set for another sim game Wednesday
Bobby Miller (shoulder) will face hitters on Wednesday in a two-inning simulated game.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Miller will progress to either a three-inning simulated game or a minor league rehab assignment, if he gets through Wednesday’s session without any issues. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty is working his way back from right shoulder inflammation that put him on the shelf back in mid-April. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:11 pm

    • Evan Phillips to throw bullpen session Wednesday
Evan Phillips (hamstring) is slated to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday.

Advice: It’s the first time throwing off a mound for Phillips since hitting the injured list back in early May with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. The hope is that the 29-year-old elite stopper won’t need a rehab assignment before returning to Los Angeles’ bullpen. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:08 pm

    • Blake Snell to make rehab start Friday at Triple-A
Blake Snell (adductor) will make another minor league rehab start on Friday for Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Snell will require one additional tune-up prior to returning to San Francisco’s starting rotation at some point later next week. The 31-year-old southpaw has been on the shelf since late April due to a left adductor strain. He struck out seven batters last Sunday in a dominant rehab outing for Single-A San Jose.
