  • Lengthy starting streak ends
    Semien is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: Semien will get a day off for the first time since May 12, 2022, ending a streak of 349 consecutive regular-season starts. Though Semien isn't nursing a new injury, manager Bruce Bochy told Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News that the 33-year-old will be getting a couple days of rest -- Texas is off Thursday -- before returning to the lineup Friday in Miami since he's been playing a little banged up after he was involved in a collision in the outfield with teammate Adolis Garcia in a May 18 game.     Turang went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base Saturday in Boston.

    Advice: His third home run of the season came in the eighth inning off reliever Zack Kelly. Turang had drawn a walk and notched his 19th stolen base of the season earlier in the contest.     Brice Turang homered and stole a base while helping the Brewers to a 6-3 win Saturday over the Red Sox.

    Advice: Turang hit his third homer of the season off Zack Kelly to extend Milwaukee’s lead to 6-2. The speedy infielder also swiped his 19th bag of the season in the victory.
