• Oneil Cruz sets Statcast record on 3 hits in win
Oneil Cruz went 3-for-5 with one RBI in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: All three of Cruz’s hits were blasted with a 121.5 mph double, a 120.4 mph single, and a 116.3 mph double. He’s now the first player in the Statcast era to have three hits in one game over 115 mph, and his 121.5 mph double is the hardest-hit ball in MLB action this year, topping the 120.4 mph single he hit earlier in the game today. That’s quite a performance. Cruz is 19-for-64 (.297) in May with four home runs, 10 runs scored, and 11 RBI. He does have 18 strikeouts in 16 games, but his production has certainly started to tick up and if stolen bases follow, we could see a full breakout. Rotoworld Today, 7:24 pm

  • Dylan Moore homers twice as Mariners down Yankees
Dylan Moore went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

Advice: Moore pulled a pitch on the outside black of the plate 402 feet to left field for a two-run homer to give the Mariners a lead in the top of the third. He would later single in the seventh inning to drive in Mitch Garver and homered again in the ninth, accounting for four of the Mariners’ six runs driven in on the afternoon. Moore hasn’t hit for much of an average but has provided solid power and run support at the bottom of the Mariners’ lineup. Rotoworld Today, 7:16 pm

  • Bobby Witt Jr. homers twice, drives in six vs. DET
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt drove in Maikel Garcia in the bottom of the first to give the Royals a 1-0 lead after Garcia started things off with a leadoff triple. That was just the start for Witt, who would later blast a three-run homer 468 feet to center field to put the Royals up 5-0 and hit another homer in the sixth inning just for good measure. Witt has now hit safely in five straight games and has upped his RBI total to 31 on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:09 pm

  • Corey Seager homers in loss to Phillies
Corey Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Seager crushed an offering from Jeff Hoffman 103.3 mph off the bat and 380 feet for his seventh home run of the year. It was also his fifth home run in 18 games in May as the power is starting to show up. However, Seager also had four strike outs on Tuesday and is still hitting just .246/.335/.383 on the season. The power surge is encouraging and hopefully it will lead to a full-on hot streak in the coming weeks. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm

  • Elly De La Cruz has game’s only RBI in win
Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a win over the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: The double accounted for the only RBI of the game, but it wasn’t particularly well hit at just 86 mph off the bat. It was just one of those nights where neither offense seemed to get anything going. The bigger news for De La Cruz was that he didn’t strike out on Tuesday after going 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts in the final three games of the Dodgers’ series. Rotoworld Today, 6:54 pm

  • Unclaimed and outrighted
Carreras was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Carreras was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Sunday. Thus he lost his 40-man roster spot, but he will remain with the organization after going unclaimed. The 24-year-old was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque in mid-March and has struggled there with a .181 average and .515 OPS across 38 games. Rotowire.com Today, 2:43 pm

Rockies sent INF Julio Carreras outright to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Advice: Carreras was designated for assignment over the weekend and passed through waivers unclaimed. The 24-year-old infielder has been removed from Colorado’s 40-man roster, but will still remain with the organization. Rotoworld Today, 2:19 pm

  • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Urshela is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Kansas City.

Advice: Urshela has gone 4-for-19 with two doubles in six games since he returned from the injured list last week, and he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Matt Vierling will handle the hot corner and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:51 pm

  • Getting day off
Baez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Baez will give way to Zach McKinstry at shortstop Tuesday after making eight straight starts. Baez finally found his groove at the plate during the Tigers' three-game series against the D-Backs last week, going 8-for-13 with four doubles and seven RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 1:48 pm
