• Posts big stat line Saturday
Tovar went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four total RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win against St. Louis.

Advice: Tovar kicked off the scoring in the first inning with an RBI single to left field. That was just the beginning of a massive performance by the young shortstop -- he added a solo homer in the sixth and a tiebreaking two-run shot in the seventh. The four-hit game was Tovar's second of the campaign, and he finished with his second multi-homer performance of the season. Tovar is somewhat quietly enjoying a breakout 2024, slashing .294/.326/.487 with 10 homers, 28 RBI, 34 runs and four stolen bases through 282 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:05 pm
  • Freddie Freeman doubles twice in blowout win
Freddie Freeman doubled twice and drove home a pair of runs in a blowout win Saturday over the Yankees.

Advice: One of the doubles was a rare misplay from Alex Verdugo, but it still counts in the scoreboard. The 34-year-old now has doubled 19 times on the season while driving in 40 runs. Even with a mediocre May, Freeman’s slash of .293/.399/.488 is awfully hard to complain about. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
  • Aaron Judge homers twice in loss to Dodgers
Aaron Judge homered twice in a loss Saturday to the Dodgers.

Advice: Judge continues to absolutely dominate — there really is no other word for this — since his slow start, and the pair of homers puts him up to 23 on the season. He’s already up to three roundtrippers in June, and the pair of RBI brings him to 12 on the month and 57 on the season. Sensational. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
  • Teoscar Hernández hits two homers, drives in six
Teoscar Hernández hit two homers, drove in six runs and stole a base Saturday in an 11-3 win over the Yankees for the Dodgers.

Advice: This qualifies as a big fantasy night, objectively. The outfielder got the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot off Nestor Cortes in the second, and he added a grand slam in the eighth to extend the Los Angeles lead to 8-2. The 31-year-old is up to 15 homers on the season with an .831 OPS and 47 RBI over 252 at-bats. There’ll be spells that Hernández drives fantasy managers crazy because of his shaky approach, but there’s enough games like this to deal with those spurts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm
  • Another pair of steals
Doyle went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases Saturday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Doyle notably hit second in the lineup for the first time since May 4, as Ezequiel Tovar shifted to third as the Rockies deal with several injuries to regular starters. Doyle delivered a strong line, highlighted by a pair of steals to bring his total on the season to 17. He also has two steals in two of his last three starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:03 pm
  • Records fourth steal
Cowser went 0-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Rays.

Advice: Cowser has seen fairly steady playing time recently, but he's gone just 7-for-56 (.125) with a 4:19 BB:K over his last 18 contests. He was on the bench to begin Saturday's contest but entered as a replacement for Kyle Stowers (wrist). Left field and center field have been up for grabs for the Orioles with Cowser, Cedric Mullins and Austin Hays all struggling to some extent. For the season, Cowser is slashing .229/.325/.417 with seven home runs, four steals, 26 RBI and 26 runs scored over 203 plate appearances. Pending the promotion of an outfielder from Triple-A Norfolk, Cowser should continue to play regularly versus right-handed pitchers at a minimum, though he hasn't hit well enough to maintain an everyday role. • Steven Kwan homers, reaches four times vs. Marlins
Steven Kwan homered and reached four times in an 8-0 win for the Guardians over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: In addition to Kwan’s homer — a two-run shot in the fifth inning — the outfielder also singled and drew a pair of walks. Keeping in mind that the 26-year-old did miss a good amount of time, he’s still putting together a sensational .371/.431/.523 slash in 151 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:59 pm
  • José Ramírez hits 19th homer of season in victory
José Ramírez hit a solo homer to help the Guardians to a win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: J-Ram is already up to 18 homers on the season, and that puts him well above a 40-homer pace. The switch-hitting infielder has also driven in 61 runs over 63 games, and you don’t have to be a math expert to know that puts him on pace for a rather large number. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:59 pm
  • Gets aboard four times in win
Peralta went 3-for-3 with two doubles, one walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 13-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Peralta has a pair of three-hit games since he joined the Padres on May 22, but he's gone just 1-for-22 over his other 11 contests. His two doubles Saturday was his first extra-base hits of the campaign. Peralta is slashing .241/.333/.310 with no home runs, three RBI, four runs scored and no stolen bases. While he's seeing steady time as a strong-side platoon player, he hasn't displayed enough consistency at the plate to warrant widespread fantasy consideration. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm
