    Advice: Garcia opened up the scoring in Sunday's contest, taking Andrew Abbott deep for a two-run shot with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, driving in teammate Nathaniel Lowe in the process. The long-ball was his eighth of the season and third in his last six contests.   • Senzel homers twice in win over Marlins
    Nick Senzel went 2-for-6 with two home runs and five RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

    Advice: Those were Senzel’s first two home runs of the season, but both were well-struck, traveling over 400 feet each time. The 28-year-old is not known for having big-time power and is slashing just .222/.263/.639 on the season with nine RBI, so this was likely just a one-off great day.   • Young has three hits, two SB in win over Miami
    Jacob Young with 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs scored, and two steals in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

    Advice: Young now has 10 steals and a .333/.375/.400 slash line since becoming the regular center fielder. He hits 9th in the lineup and doesn’t bring much power to the table, so it’s hard to get overly excited, but he’s a great source of speed while he’s hitting like this.     Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, and four RBI in a loss to the Nationals on Sunday.

    Advice: Jazz clobbered a 395-foot grand slam off Patrick Corbin in the first inning at 102.7 mph. It was especially impressive coming off of a left-handed pitcher. While he didn’t get another hit on the day, he did work two walks, which is always nice to see from a young hitter who tends to be a free swinger.   • Christopher Morel returns to Cubs lineup on Sunday
    Christopher Morel (hip, elbow) returned to the Cubs’ starting lineup on Sunday.

    Advice: Morel was pulled from Saturday’s game after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario in the outfield, but aside from being a bit banged up he’s good to go. Morel is starting at the hot corner and batting cleanup against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox on Sunday night.   • Alek Thomas plays in simulated game on Saturday
    Alek Thomas (hamstring) took at-bats and ran the bases during a simulated game on Saturday.

    Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder has not yet been cleared to roam the outfield defensively, but it’s nice to see that he continues to progress in his recovery from a left hamstring strain.     Advice: The 24-year-old collided with Alexander Canario after making a running catch in the outfield Saturday but is apparently no worse for wear.     Raley will start in right field and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: Raley had started both of the last two games in left field, but he'll head over to right field in the series finale while Mitch Haniger gets the day off. Haniger appears to be entrenched as the Mariners' preferred right fielder, but the playing time in left field seems to be tilting in Raley's favor of late.
