• Jake Bauers goes 3-for-5, hits three-run homer
Jake Bauers went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and pitched a scoreless innings Sunday against the Yankees.

Advice: Bauers was in the lineup for just one game of the series against his previous team, but he made the most of it, delivering a three-run blast off Marcus Stroman. He’s at .214/.267/.411 in 60 plate appearances. A reduced role is probably coming once Christian Yelich (back) returns, particularly since Yelich will probably spend more time DHing than usual. • Goes deep in win
Garcia went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: Garcia opened up the scoring in Sunday's contest, taking Andrew Abbott deep for a two-run shot with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, driving in teammate Nathaniel Lowe in the process. The long-ball was his eighth of the season and third in his last six contests. The outfielder is now batting .291 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 19 runs scored and four stolen bases over 103 at-bats in 28 games this season. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

  • Senzel homers twice in win over Marlins
Nick Senzel went 2-for-6 with two home runs and five RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Those were Senzel’s first two home runs of the season, but both were well-struck, traveling over 400 feet each time. The 28-year-old is not known for having big-time power and is slashing just .222/.263/.639 on the season with nine RBI, so this was likely just a one-off great day. However, he is playing most days for the Nationals and could be on the radar in the deepest formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:42 pm

  • Nevin has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
Tyler Nevin went 2-for-5 with a home run in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: The A’s were roundly criticized for deciding to play Nevin over Esteury Ruiz; however, Nevin is hitting .286/.342/.400 during his time in Oakland with two home runs and six RBI. His homer was a no-doubter, leaving the bat at 105.7 mph and traveling 407 feet. He’s hitting near the top of the A’s lineup and should be added in AL-only leagues while he’s swinging the bat like this. He can be left on the wire in most other formats for now. • Eloy Jiménez goes 3-for-4 in Rays’ victory
Eloy Jiménez had three singles in four at-bats against the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: It’s his first three-hit game since he had four hits last Aug. 30. He went 6-for-14 with a homer and a double in three-game sweep of the Rays, raising his OPS from .613 to .759. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

  • Christopher Morel returns to Cubs lineup on Sunday
Christopher Morel (hip, elbow) returned to the Cubs’ starting lineup on Sunday.

Advice: Morel was pulled from Saturday’s game after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario in the outfield, but aside from being a bit banged up he’s good to go. Morel is starting at the hot corner and batting cleanup against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox on Sunday night. On the season, the 24-year-old slugger is hitting .219/.296/.365 with three homers, 12 RBI and one stolen base through 26 games. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

  • Wenceel Pérez homers in win over KC
Wenceel Pérez went 2-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Pérez’s home run was the first of his MLB career, traveling 370 feet at 103.1 mph off the bat. The rookie is now slashing .286/.359/.514 and was hitting third for the Tigers on Sunday. While he is still not locked into an every day spot in the lineup, there is a path for him to earn more playing time if he keeps hitting like this. Rotoworld Today, 1:49 pm

  • Good to go Sunday
Morel (hip) is starting at third base and batting cleanup Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: The 24-year-old collided with Alexander Canario after making a running catch in the outfield Saturday but is apparently no worse for wear. Morel had a 1-for-32 slump over nine contests in mid-May, but his bat has come alive over his past six games with a .781 OPS. Rotowire.com Today, 1:34 pm

  • Receives Sunday off
McCutchen is Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: McCutchen started the previous three games and will head to the bench after going 1-for-12 with two walks and five strikeouts. Edward Olivares will bat fifth as the designated hitter Sunday for the Pirates. Rotowire.com Today, 12:26 pm
