• Breather in Game 2
Miranda is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader with the Athletics.

Advice: Miranda will head to the bench after he went 2-for-4 in the team's 6-2 win in Game 1. Trevor Larnach will slot in at designated hitter while Manuel Margot enters the lineup in left field and bats seventh against Oakland. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:05 pm

  • Pete Fairbanks locked down Braves for save
Pete Fairbanks struck out two and walked one en route to his 10th save of the season on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks has been solid since returning from the IL last month with six saves in as many chances. It’s worth keeping an eye on his walk rate though as it’s inched up over 12%, the highest mark of his career. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:27 pm
  • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsley got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:06 pm

  • Nine-game hitting streak
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a walk Saturday against Atlanta.

Advice: Diaz extended his hitting streak to nine games with the performance, during which he's collected multiple hits on five occasions. He's hitting .359 in that span, though his production has otherwise been empty as he has zero extra-base hits, one RBI and three runs scored. Diaz has managed only a .094 ISO across 309 plate appearances for the campaign, so his lack of power has not been a short-term issue. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:55 am

  • Logs quality start in no-decision
Winn did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Angels, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Winn surrendered a solo home run to Mickey Moniak in the second inning then allowed a game-tying two-run homer to Logan O'Hoppe in the sixth. While he stumbled late, Winn registered 17 swinging strikes on 91 pitches and logged his first quality start since May 28. On the season, Winn now owns a 6.66 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 46:19 K:BB in 11 starts and tentatively lines up to face the Cardinals next week. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:49 pm

  • Homers, drives in three in loss
Ramos went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a 4-3 loss to the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Ramos did all the damage for the Giants on Saturday, hitting a two-run home run off Patrick Sandoval in the first inning and adding an RBI double in the fifth. He later doubled again in the seventh. Ramos has been absolutely raking in June, hitting .392 with six home runs, 17 RBI and eight multi-hit games. He has been one of this season's best early surprises, hitting .325 with eight home runs and 30 RBI in 126 at-bats. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:14 pm

  • Early exit in Saturday's loss
Pallante (2-3) took the loss Saturday, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits over 3.1 innings as the Cardinals were downed 5-1 by the Cubs. He struck out four without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander didn't pitch badly, blanking Chicago through three innings, but Pallante got lifted after 59 pitches (40 strikes) with two runners on base in the fourth and had to watch Chris Roycroft let them both come around to score. Pallante has been effective in three of four outings since moving into the rotation, posting a 3.64 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB through 17.1 innings over that stretch. He lines up to make his next start at home next week against the Giants. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:29 pm

  • Heliot Ramos homers, doubles twice vs. Angels
Heliot Ramos went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, and three RBI against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Ramos stayed red hot at the plate on Saturday collecting three hits and driving in all three runs for the Giants. He took Patrick Sandoval deep for a two-run shot in the first inning, then drove in the third run on a double in the fifth. Ramos added a third extra-base hit with a double in the seventh. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting an excellent .325/.407/.571 with eight homers and 30 RBI across 145 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:53 pm

  • Keaton Winn strikes out six in no-decision vs. Angels
Keaton Winn allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Winn worked around a double in the first inning, then gave up a solo homer to Mickey Moniak in the second. Winn was hurt by the long ball again in the sixth, serving up a two-run homer to Logan O’Hoppe that tied the game. He’d be done after six with six strikeouts. The 26-year-old right-hander will take a 6.66 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and a 46/19 K/BB ratio across 52 2/3 innings into a start against the Cardinals in St. Louis on Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:50 pm
