    Advice: Gore managed to keep the Rangers off the scoreboard for the first three innings, but an RBI single from Jonah Heim in the fourth followed by a fielder's choice in the fifth was all it took for Texas to take the lead over Washington and hand Gore his third consecutive loss. Despite his record, the 25-year-old lefty still owns a 3.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the year and has struck out at least six batters in four of his six starts.     Advice: Smith's second-inning single and sixth-inning solo shot give the 26-year-old infielder his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. He is 7-for-14 two homers, three RBI and three runs scored during that stretch and now boats an impressive .917 OPS on the season while filling in as Josh Jung's (wrist) replacement.     Gray (1-1) earned the win Tuesday against Washington after allowing one earned run on three hits while striking out three batters across eight innings.

    Advice: Gray gave up an RBI single to Luis Garcia in the first inning to put the Rangers behind early, but that would end up being the only blemish on his record. His three strikeouts weren't consistent with the rates fantasy managers have come to expect out of the 32-year-old righty, but he still managed to completely shut down the Nationals' bats nonetheless. Ever since being lit up for five runs in 3.2 innings during his season debut in March, Gray has posted a 1.24 ERA alongside a 33:8 K:BB across 29 innings.     Siri went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two runs scored and was hit by a pitch during Tuesday's loss to the Brewers.

    Advice: Siri homered off Freddy Peralta in the third inning to get the Rays on the scoreboard and was hit by a pitch during his next at-bat in the fifth frame, resulting in Peralta's ejection. He came around to score in the fifth but was later ejected himself after getting into a fight with Brewers reliever Abner Uribe in the eighth inning. Despite being the most productive member of the Rays' lineup Tuesday, Siri is still slashing just .186/.276/.302 and has struck out in 41 of his 86 at-bats this season, giving him extremely little fantasy value even in the deepest of leagues.     Alexander (1-1) took the loss Tuesday against Milwaukee after allowing three earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three batters across four innings.

    Advice: Alexander was unable to keep the Brewers off the basepaths Tuesday, allowing three runs to score in the first two innings. He managed to keep Milwaukee from scoring over the next two frames but had to be pulled after needing 85 pitches to complete four innings, tying his shortest outing of the season. The 29-year-old southpaw owns a 5.02 ERA and 1.40 WHIP this season, though he'll have a good chance to bounce back during his next scheduled start Monday against the White Sox.     Advice: Turang's RBI single in the second inning drove in Jackson Chourio to give Milwaukee a 2-0 lead, and his seventh-inning double scored another two runs, pushing the score to 8-2. The 24-year-old second baseman continues to look like a reformed hitter, batting .312 through 93 at-bats this season -- a drastic improvement from his .218 average last year -- and his 14 stolen bases rank second in the majors.     Advice: Adames hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning to drive in William Contreras and put Milwaukee on the scoreboard, but his fifth-inning three-run shot off Jacob Lopez blew the game open and gave Milwaukee a 6-1 lead. The 28-year-old shortstop boasts a .270/.369/.441 slash line through 130 plate appearances this season, though his performance was trending downward prior to his outburst Tuesday.     Advice: Peralta was fantastic again Tuesday, needing just 66 pitches to get through 5.1 innings while only allowing one hit -- a Jose Siri home run. The 27-year-old pitcher wasn't showing any signs of slowing down on the mound, but his start came to an abrupt and controversial end when he hit Siri with a pitch in the sixth inning. The umpires deemed the HBP an intentional act, leading to Peralta's ejection from the game. Despite being tossed, Tuesday's outing was a strong bounce-back performance from his five-run showing Thursday against Pittsburgh. He has now struck out 45 batters in 33.2 innings this year and will carry a 3.21 ERA and 0.86 WHIP into his next start -- currently projected for Monday in Kansas City.
