    • Tracking toward Tuesday return
Lowe (oblique) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game in Miami after he completed a rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham over the weekend, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe went 4-for-12 with a triple, three runs and two RBI over the three-game rehab assignment and played all nine innings in right field in Sunday's contest. The 26-year-old has made a swift recovery from his right oblique strain, a recurrence of a previous injury that had kept him on the shelf for the first five weeks of the season. Once activated, Lowe will likely move between center field, right field and designated hitter while occupying a prominent spot in the lineup against right-handed pitching. Lowe's impending return could result in the likes of Jose Siri and Richie Palacios losing out on playing time. Rotowire.com Today, 7:45 am

    • Josh Lowe (oblique) likely to rejoin Rays Tuesday
Josh Lowe (oblique) is expected to rejoin the Rays for Tuesday’s series opener against the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder played three games with Triple-A Durham over the weekend and Rays’ skipper Kevin Cash was “very encouraged” by how he looked. Lowe has been sidelined since May 23 due to a right oblique strain. Before he was shelved, he had been hitting .240/.296/.440 with a pair of homers and three RBI in his first 50 at-bats on the season. Rotoworld Today, 5:39 am

    • Launches first homer
Friedl went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Friedl provided all the Reds would need in the second inning when he bopped a two-out, three-run home run to give Cincinnati a 4-0 lead. It was the first home run of the season for Friedl, who is coming back from a second stint on the injured list and has played just 10 games this season. As he gets more plate appearances -- just 43 so far -- Friedl's timing should get better and he should improve on his .167 average. Rotowire.com Today, 5:25 am

    • Homers in return
Gurriel went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Gurriel, who was scratched from Saturday's game with an Illness, made an immediate impact in his return to the starting lineup. He and Ketel Marte put Arizona up early with solo homers in the first inning. The home run was Gurriel's seventh of the season and first in 11 games. He's slumped since the end of April, batting just .182 with two home runs and 10 RBI over the last 32 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:10 am
    • Swipes fourth bag
Meyers went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Meyers started his 17th consecutive game in center field and hit fifth Sunday -- matching his highest spot in the order of the season. He's gone 19-for-61 in that span, also tallying three homers, eight runs scored 10 RBI and two stolen bases. Meyers is on the field primarily due to his defensive play, though he's benefitted at the plate from cutting his strikeout rate to 18.7 percent in 155 plate appearances. • Earns another win
Bassitt (6-6) picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings against the Pirates. He struck out seven.

Advice: Bassitt didn't seem to be held back at all after leaving his previous start with neck spasms, tossing 100 pitches Sunday and picking up his third straight victory. The 35-year-old has been part of the decision in all 12 of his starts this season and hasn't yielded more than three runs in an outing since April 26. During that stretch, Bassitt is 4-2 with a 2.83 ERA across 35.0 innings. He's scheduled to make his next appearance Friday at Oakland. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm
    • Exits early with hamstring injury
Marsh suffered a right hamstring strain and was removed from Sunday's contest with the Cardinals in the bottom of the eighth inning, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Marsh notched a single off of reliever Andrew Kittredge to open the bottom of the eighth, leaving the game after advancing to second base on a base knock from Nick Castellanos. The outfielder will likely undergo additional testing on his leg and a trip to the injured list is certainly on the table. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:54 pm

    • Brandon Marsh diagnosed with hamstring strain
The Phillies announced that Brandon Marsh was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Cardinals due to a right hamstring strain.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder suffered the injury while running the bases in the eighth inning on Sunday. He’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the strain. Expect the Phillies to provide an update on his status on Monday. Fantasy managers who are relying on Marsh for next week should be sure to have a contingency plan in place. • Brandon Marsh leaves game Sunday with leg injury
Brandon Marsh was removed from Sunday night’s battle against the Cardinals in the eighth inning due to an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Marsh rounded second base and wanted to turn on the jets to go to third, but pulled up lame and had to hobble back into second base. It’s unclear if it was a hamstring or some sort of knee issue, though he was able to walk off the field under his own power. He’ll head for further evaluation. Cristian Pache came in to replace him and would be in line for increased action if Marsh is forced to miss any time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:42 pm
