    • Michael King hit hard in loss to Rockies
Michael King was hit hard in Wednesday afternoon’s loss to the Rockies, surrendering six runs on eight hits across his 5 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: On the plus side for fantasy managers, King racked up seven strikeouts on the afternoon while issuing just two free passes. The Rockies scored three times in the second inning — including a solo blast by Brenton Doyle — then tacked on two more in the third. King settled in nicely afterwards though and kept them at bay until the sixth, where he exited after allowing single that eventually came around to score. King got 14 swings and misses on 89 pitches on the afternoon while registering a CSW of 33 percent. With extreme inconsistency on the season, he now sports a 4.31 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and a 60/26 K/BB ratio over 54 innings through his first 10 appearances (nine starts). He’ll do battle against the Reds his next time out in Cincinnati on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 3:52 pm

    • Hits bench against righty
DeLuca is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: For the second time in three games, the right-handed-hitting DeLuca finds himself on the bench against a right-handed starting pitcher (Tanner Houck). Upon returning from the injured list May 3, DeLuca had started in nine consecutive games, but he looks like he could move into more of a short-side platoon role now that the Rays are starting to get healthier. Two left-handed hitters in Josh Lowe and Jonathan Aranda both recently returned from the injured list, and the Rays could get another in Brandon Lowe back before the end of May. • Back in action Wednesday
Harper (migraine) will start at first base and bat third in Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Harper will make his return to the lineup after sitting out Tuesday's 4-0 win with what was apparently a minor migraine. Alec Bohm filled in at first base but will move back to his usual post at third base Wednesday to accommodate Harper. Rotowire.com Today, 12:11 pm

    • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) should be back Friday
Jorge Polanco should be ready to play Friday after missing a second straight start Wednesday with hamstring tightness.

Advice: Luis Urias is filling in for Polanco, with Josh Rojas moving from third to second. Rotoworld Today, 11:31 am

    • Out Wednesday with hamstring injury
Polanco (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Polanco will take a seat for the second day in a row while he manages a tight right hamstring. The Mariners are viewing him as day-to-day, but a trip to the injured list could become more realistic if Polanco is still not available to start coming out of Thursday's team off day. • On bench against lefty
Suwinski is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Lefty Robert Gasser is on the bump for Milwaukee, so the lefty-hitting Suwinski will retreat to the bench for the series finale. Edward Olivares will fill in for Suwinski in right field and will bat fifth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:06 am

    • Goes yard again
Seaver went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Seager took advantage of the Globe Life Field roof being open, swatting a solo home run off Ben Lively in the third inning. The shortstop has hit three home runs in his last eight games and is batting .267 with six RBI and an 11.4 percent K rate during that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 12:24 am
    • Does a bit of everything
Naylor went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and a stolen base during Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor took part in the Guardians' six-run second inning, plating Tyler Freeman and Andres Gimenez with a three-run blast. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign and boosted his walk rate to 10.4 percent. The 27-year-old has gone yard five times in his last 10 games and is batting .286 during that stretch. • Swats two-run homer
Gonzales went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: It took Gonzales just five games since being called up from Triple-A to notch a home run, tagging Joe Ross for a two-run shot in the fourth inning. While Tuesday's tilt marked Gonzales' second multi-RBI game this year, he's yet to generate multiple hits in a single game and is slashing .214/.267/.429 with a stolen base in 16 plate appearances.
